Bengal Foundation has been promoting Bengali music for decades in order to nurture and uphold the musical traditions of Bengal. The Foundation releases a wide selection of Bengali albums to the public, conducts workshops, and well as create opportunities to train under distinguished musicians at the Bengal Parampara Sangeetalay. Bengal Foundation’s music programme also frequently organises a number of large scale music events which include the Bengal Classical Music Festival, the world’s largest classical music festival in terms of number of performers on a single stage, audience capacity and duration.
Bengal Foundation’s music programme aims to pave the way for better appreciation and understanding of the fundamentals of music; as well as to energise, influence and promote the music industry of Bangladesh.

বাংলাদেশের শিল্পীদের কন্ঠে রবিঠাকুরের গান, কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম এর গান শুনতে ভালবাসি, কারণ বেশী বাজনার প্রভাব নেই, স্বকন্ঠই যথেষ্ট, অপূর্ব।

ভালো ধরেছেন। আমিও একমত। বেঙ্গল ফাউন্ডেশনের গানগুলো এমনি হচ্ছে। তবে এটাও ঠিক যে বাংলাদেশে বাজনাদারের শ্রেণি ও সংখ্যা কম। গুরুর অভাব।

The bulbul of Bengal the great poet Qazi Nazrul Islam is our national poet, our pride, our glory & our haughtiness. No brilliance will come in the sub-continent like Nazrul Islam. Notwithstanding the terrible torture of British and the sinister motives of our neighbor Hindu Malauns he gave the nation a huge quantity of poetic presentations. It's our bad-luck that Nazrul lost his power of remembrance and after that he lived a long life. He couldn't display his full poetic brilliance in front of the world. We pray to almighty Allah for the forbearance of his departed soul, Amin, Amin.

The initiative to establish schools in the name of national poet 'Kazi Nazrul Islam' in all marginal areas including Hatia, Bhasan-char and Sandeep can ensure development. Nazrul is not only an extraordinary creative poet, he has created literature in need of social reform out of social responsibility. So we have to play a leading role to bring Nazrul's motivation into the mainstream of society. সাবধান- সমাজ অভ্যন্তরে “নজরুল চর্চা“ নেই বিধায় সকলেই বিশৃঙ্খলায় জড়িয়ে পড়ছে।
রাগের উপর এত দখল রাগ সিদ্ধ অসাধারন কণ্ঠ, কঠিন গানের সুরকে অনায়াসে গলায় খেলিয়ে মন প্রাণকে এত আবিষ্ট করা আগে পাইনি কোনো শিল্পী র কাছে।মাননীয়া ফিরোজা বেগম ও অন্যান্য শিল্পী দের পর একটি ভালো নজরুল গীতি উপহার।খুব স্পষ্ট ও সাবলীল গায়কি। মন ভরে গেলো।গানের ভালো শিক্ষা নিয়েই উনি নেমেছেন বিদ্রোহী কবি তথা,প্রেমের কবির এই গানের মহাসমুদ্রে অবগাহন করতে। অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা।

Sharmin Shathi Islam এর সাথে মনে হয় একটা ডাক নাম আছে, ভুলে গেছি । শারমিন সাথির কন্ঠস্বরটা সুন্দর, গায়কিও সুন্দর, দেখতেও সুন্দর । বুলবুল ইসলামও আমার প্রিয় শিল্পী ।
