Things I learned from this video: Johnathan has a HELL of a voice for jazz. Annapantsu can sing jazz. I need the two to sing together more.

@@Johnny-rx4hs Carlos of Insaneintherainmusic would've been great for that. No idea if he'd be up for it though, considering he wanted out of being a content creator (not out of being a musician, though) because of being pigeonholed with regards to remixing videogame music as jazz covers.

Why do I feel like I've just walked into a futuristic music lounge with gangsters, made men, and detectives in trenchcoats whenever I listen to this song? Like, all i can envision is Annapantsu as being a lounge singer singing her heart out in a red dress, and JonathanYoung being a piano player, in a suit as an accompianent

To see something jazzy coming from this channel is an unexpectedly nice change of pace. The lyrics reminded me of stories I heard from older generations, and it fills me with determination and the feeling that my hard work actually means something, in the long run.

A New Capenna D&D game would be so interesting, especially with the possibility of either being outsiders to the city or, opposite side of spectrum, if the characters were each from a different family and forced to work together, so many possibilities with it

These two voices are some ebony and ivory friends. They fit together beautifully!

holy shit Anna's voice... how does she keep blowing me away everytime

Jonathan's back with the wicked piano solo and making Anna sing the high notes! The whole song is a badass mood, Luv it!

Gosh, I love duets. I love this song. The third chorus where Jonathan and Anna lead in together is wonderful, and brief, and yet you hardly have time to appreciate them together before that beautiful moment at the very end where he drives the song and lets her dance and flourish around him

I love the whole jazzy 80's mafia vibes. Started playing Magic a while back and had this song on repeat during a couple few tens of matches

Is it just me, or does annapantsu's low jazz voice at the start of the song blow even her (legendary) high belts out of the water? I could happily listen to that first verse on repeat for the rest of the day. Damn!

I'm blown away. This is an amazing arrangement and it shows off your voices perfectly - the way Anna's voice just keeps going higher in the first part like it doesn't have a ceiling, and the way Jonathan's voice uses texture (for lack of a better word), and you both build such a mood, a whole distinct world with a single song... I really enjoyed it, thank you both for an excellent song!

I don’t leave comments but this whole new era of Jonathan. Absolutely amazing. The vocals? Immaculate. The instrumental? Captivating. I am adding this on Spotify right away and putting it on loop

That was an amazing collaboration of equally incredible voices. The lyrics and the melody (especially the piano at the beginning) set the wonderfull mood, and then the hook was the final nail in the coffin. This is easy top 5 of new songs I have listened to this year. Truly a masterpiece. Amazing work.
