Using the billet I forged here: • Damascus Steel from Nails
Ni-mai with canister damascus (nails and 1095 powder with 4% nickle) and k720 for the cutting edge.
Wa-handle made of olive wood, ebony and redheart. All pinned and locked together without glue by a single tapered pin.

8:37 even the tomato was smiling at the fact of being sliced so perfectly with such a beautiful knife lol! I'm so glad you saved and created that, I spend my life tearing stuff down but I love watching you create things I really do and Damascus is my favourite, stunning in every way, great video!👍
Good Lord, you turned a mishap into a fantastic knife. I know you had to have been upset, but that paring knife is absolutely beautiful. Handle was perfectly designed. Great video and thank you for sharing how easily a broken blade can happen to the best. You're a great artist. 👍

Kids, Knock it off! What we are talkin’ about right heeeeeaaa is Mr. Black Beard turned Shit into Sugar!
“Knife-makers don’t make mistakes, they just make shorter knives” 😂 but that’s a gorgeous blade; excellent work.
Absolutely, a great save on the knife. I'm not a knife maker, but; when things like that happen to me. It really gets to me. Nice to see someone pull out a great result from something gone wrong. Great job, sir!
Some of the best results started out as trainwrecks. The skill and the art is in seeing the possibilities within the wreckage. The result is freaking gorgeous, and super functional, to boot!
It's still great to see you show your fails, as you always do, because mistakes are important opportunities to learn more
Lemonade turned out beautiful.. that's how we get better, lots of mistakes.. BB thx for showing this, it's always nice to see the best makes mistakes too.. Take care my friend...
Some people never admit their mistakes. Thank you for being honest. And it looks great!
There are no mistakes, only happy accidents! You pulled that one off really well, you live you learn. Beautiful knife, I love the pattern.
one of the most talented dudes on the internet.... your pieces are beautiful blackbeard...peace and love.
You have to roll with the punches with this kind of craft, the material has a mind of it's own, you turned what could have been a tragedy around really beautifully!
LMAO. Your commentary about breaking the blade made my day... Still a very gorgeous piece.
6:20 the sound is SO satisfying! Love those grind lines, this is a real beaut’!!!
My heart broke when your blade broke, but you recovered beautifully. That is a gorgeous knife to be proud of!!

Ouch!!! So much work, but the small pearing knife is gorgeous!
Love the way you pin the handle
Awesome work. A true artist working with what he has!!!!
I was kind of worried when one side of the billet looked so different from the other in the other video. But you managed to salvage a beautiful knife from this half of your billet. Congratulations for persevering and making something beautiful out of your happy little accident!
Very professional work, Thanks my friend ❤️❤️❤️👌👌💕💕
The edit on 01:41 was simply SUBLIME! I paused the video just to laugh ant to give it a like. Now back to the video.
Absolutely lovely.
Turned out gorgeous.
Amazing, so talented!
Nice work around 👏
Right after you quench it in oil you have about 30 seconds you can easily straighten it out before the martensite fully forms. Then temper it.
Beautiful!
Beautiful knife, keep going with your canister Damascus!
Nice work and an excellent recovery.
Absolutely mind blowing thanks sir 👍👍😊😊.
Badass knife. Go with the flow, it's the only way.
Great recovery!

It sucks that it broke on you but you did a hell of a job at salvaging what you could! A good paring knife is essiential to any kitchen.

Bellissimo! Bravo!

Fantastic paring knife! I have one very similar to that and it makes an even better knife for breaking down wild boar.

Great Job Sir. I love it, personally.... Perfect for cutting lemons & limes for your drinks.... And what is more important than that???
I feel the influence of the TOT😁👍.
I wish you would start selling your work, or working on commissions! This piece is insanely cool.
Nice save, yeah it’s a shame to waste something like that and little knives are just as useful. It would have made a good skinning knife too, the skinning knife I use has a very similar blade shape. Cool vid 👍
To bad it broke but you made a sweet paring knife I wonder if you have a nuff of that other side to make a skinner knife? Outstanding video thank you for sharing five stars my friend
very nice
knifemakers don't mess up, they just make shorter knives
lookin' good, better luck next go around...keep well...
Fantastic Hope you made a good pizza with the "pomodorino" I really like your small security wooden stick, don't ever change it

Your videos are almost as excellent as your positivity!
That tomato looks delicious!
Nice save! Now don't throw the rest of it away. cut it up and keep all these small pieces you get over from different project and make a new canister of it.
Even in destruction there is beauty 💯.. What a piece 💥😲.. I’m jus gonna come out and say it : “I see a giveaway in your sub’rs future” 😜. Great Vid once again 👏🏽
Good save on the broken blade. What are you going to do with the front half that snapped off?
That is a very beautiful knife. Just a question, does the acidic juice in the tomato affect the blade etching?
Привет,отличное решение,лайк мастеру👍👋
Good
Remember! Knifemakers don't make mistakes, just smaller knives!!
Knife makers never make mistakes just shorter knifes 😁
Was not possible to anneal and forge weld it again? Great job. 🙂
aww man, sorry about it snapping in half. Still made a beautiful knife
Meglio di niente ma meglio di un gioiello !
