On May 15, 2017, my right hip broke itself, after I'd been being beat down by rheumatoid arthritis for nearly 12 years. I had been listening to Home Free for a while by that time, and after I stopped screaming (they told me, at the hospital) on the third day after the surgery, the first thing I did was ask someone to find Home Free on KZread, on the TV in my room, so I could have something to keep my mind off of the pain that was still grabbing at me pretty hard. I ended up having to spend two weeks there in that hospital, then two weeks more in a hospital closer to home, and then another whole month in a care center (only about 10 miles from home, where my husband was working part-time). I listened to HF's music on the TV and on my phone (on Spotify) for one song after another, and got a WHOLE bunch of people hooked on them, and pulled into their Patreon as well. In mid-July 2017, my right hip joint got replaced, as well. That time, I was only in-hospital (and not in the care home) for two weeks. During that time, I got a whole lot MORE nurses, attendants, kitchen helpers, and housekeepers hooked on Home Free (including THIS song). This song became one of my very favorites, because I AM a believer, AND I listen to my favorite hymns and choruses whenever I can (car radio or just at home listening to Spotify, etc.). When I can't go anywhere, I'm listening at home. I STILL love to watch and listen to this one -- especially if I'm feeling a bit down. When I saw that you reacted to it, earlier today, I pulled the reaction up, and am just now listening to it, in the middle of the night (I'm a night-owl). It's almost midnight, and I've been singing along. THANK YOU! Now I'll go and watch the whole thing (again...and probably again...) just for myself. Again...THANK YOU! 😀

Gospel sound but lyrically, not a Christian Gospel song. However, I've always liked this cover. There aren't many songs that I don't like that Home Free has done. Saw them at our county fair last September and was able to go backstage and meet them. I'm sure this old Grandma made a fool of herself by being "star struck" by these young, handsome and awesome guys. I did however chat a bit with Rob and Adam Rupp about Minnesota. Thanks for all of your great reactions Cole.

Again a beautiful cover of Home Free, where the already great different voices come together so well with the amazing "twist" in between.. And of course the inhuman incredible freaking good "drum" of Adam Rupp as the complete creator. This will give you a big smile on your face and a good feeling... AMEN!!

That is one of the best uses of audience participation that I've seen. As Tim says "we're gonna take ya'll to church with this one." Split the audience into three parts and have everyone pull into the harmony.

I love this one! Honestly, sometimes music is more healing than anything else for me. Since you like blues, I’d like to suggest a couple of Austin’s solo pieces. First, “Empty House.” kzread.info/dash/bejne/e6CuuM2rdrXIp9Y.htmlsi=I34yWOc2HqelOf8s. This was written by a fan (used to be a level on his Patreon-type site) and sung by Austin. It is incredible! Second, “Georgia On My Mind.” kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYWCxtqdkre2ktI.htmlsi=bvfZ_iZmWDgTMfpP I’m sure you know this one, but Austin puts his spin on it. The filming was done in Canada while Home Free was on tour.

Yep -- this was when Chance was new(er)... dead on right there! This was Chances 1st vid where the bass-line was his! Yep, that southern Gospel sound, feel, tone! But many miss the context/meaning of the song --- a "similar"/"like" or a "comparison to" (related). Man, they hit it outta the park on this one -- and yes... Ms Morris' original was damn good -- but these guys "Re-Craft" it... : ) and it's gooder or gooderest! Let's Goooooo Be Safe

One of my favorite "ear worms" 😆 Once I hear Adam's percussion on this one it replays in my head for the rest of the day ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ (And I love HF's attention to details--they consistently put forth the effort with creative touches like the old tv look/old radio sound that IMHO put their music and videos on a level above all others. 🥇) #HomeFree

I love their rendition of this song! As always, the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are outstanding. BTW, when Austin was a kid he sometimes traveled & sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia. So if it feels like he took you to church . . .There's a live video of them singing this that's just terrific: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ameer9aTgKiXnNo.htmlsi=PY-Tu0X7JPTTIvLR.

HF has a tendency to make most of their songs upbeat. (Morris' version is a bit of downer IMO.) I like the little easter eggs, like Tim singing the "ring of fire" in his bass register and Austin falling back into singing southern gospel style.
