“How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. We have our fearless and unconventional mother, Young Salo, to thank. With a single-minded entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own business at the age of 49. She had a passion for the nail industry and we did everything in our power to support her. In the end, this is a family business.
Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He is energy personified and has a true passion for developing the best professional nail care products and education. Habib is the younger brother. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.
Today, more than 20 years later, Young Nails Inc., is a professional nail care manufacturing company exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and distributing domestically to over 3000 stores. We’re respected for our next-level product innovation and education. Our mission is to bring you the best quality products and we’ll show you how to use them with incredible results. It’s really that simple.
Welcome to the Young Nails family!

    I have done both....and to tell you the truth....using a form looks so much better. When I was younger....(a teenager)....I used to bite my nails...sometimes until they bled. As the years went by, and then getting into the medical field......I learned to keep my hands out of my mouth! It's been a long time, but the damage was done.....over the years my fingers healed and my nails grew back, but not like some of the beautiful natural nails that I have seen. Now, I take very good care of my nails and hands. and I have acrylics that I take very good care of....because I watch YN videos!, and because of Greg's awesome instruction. Thank you Greg, for the way you teach, your ease of style, and your unending wealth of knowledge!

    I FREAKING LOVE THESE SUPER IN DEPTH TUTORIALS!!!! It's awesome how you answer questions like during the video, or you answer perceived questions and previously asked questions 💖 it's so super helpful!!! Thank you so much for coming up with this teaching series AND, of course, the much loved e-file training series. I severely damaged my natural nails (mom related injuries) to the point that three of them were broken more than halfway up the nail bed, then two of them had the middles of the natural nails lifted off of the beds, then my right thumb had tried to pull off the bed, but instead, there were a few layers of the natural nail still attached to the nail bed, and other layers were still attached to the extension (even after e-filling off my extensions, that poor thumb was SOOO SENSITIVE!!!) I was gonna try doing something, like what you're doing here, to repair them or just put on a new set to cover up this hideously despicable damage, but instead I've just been going naked nailed (which I HATE); and now the damage is mainly grown out, so I think I'm ready to do them with confidence 😁 Besides, just watching y'all's super gorgeous sets kinda quenched my nail thirst enough to keep my hands off my healing nubs! Plus, I got a ton of new inspo💖💅

    Having enhancements are the only way I don’t bite my nails. As soon as they come off and I have all natural nails, i instantly start biting them. It’s so incredibly hard, I’ve been biting them for over 20 years. I’m so glad enhancements are a thing!!

  • @lizispotato9967

    @lizispotato9967

    3 жыл бұрын

    I’m the same exact way, if I have enhancements, I don’t even mess with them which is weird because as soon as they’re gone I’m back at it again. It’s odd how I don’t even crave it when I have acrylic or gel extensions, but I literally cannot stop myself when they’re off. I’ve been doing my own gel extensions and it helps so much! I couldn’t afford to keep getting them done, wish I could learn acrylic, but I’m not fast enough for that 😂

    I do my own nails since Covid ( Feb aprox ) started with acrylic--switched to poly gel--much easier for me--my nails are not perfect--BUT is better than being cut again and again, (tried Many different nail salons ) having attitude by every tech, saving $ is wonderful, and not risking covid and infected nail beds. Often the nail files are not scored by the tech --and I have been cut again and again. These vlogs are So helpful--thank You !!!!!

    How much do you charge for a set like this? Gel set or acrylic set?

  • @youngnailsinc

    @youngnailsinc

    Жыл бұрын

    You would start with your base price that you charge for an active length set and if it takes you longer than a basic set would, you could add a slight additional up charge, as well as add on for any embellishments or artwork. We recommend charging the same for hard gel or acrylic that way you can choose what to use on your client based on what their nails need and not them picking based on which is cheaper.
