I love Nahko. I'm an 8 year addict. I quit shortly after I met little bear at GNF 2014 in Maine and started to experience their medicine. Struggling today. Can I get some love?

You betcha. The power and glory of this music is next to godliness. It gives so much hope to stay strong. Religion itself has been used and got a bad wrap, but all god wants is you to talk with him, it’s a personal thing, not a community thing. Focus on what you want, and not what you don’t want, and you will manifest it. Don’t waste your time and effort on thinking about what you don’t want to happen, and you’ll have more energy for working toward what you want. Find your inner voice, and listen when it says “No.”

Energy is a tricky subject. Should we find a way to wean off fossil fuels? Yes. However even this music could likely not have been made with oil. It is in everything from paint to finish to plastics.

I know my whole life has been leading up to this anyways, but Nahko made me see.. Little by little, I've been waking up, but now I found purpose.. I used to think (5 days ago) that Nahko has so much pressure on his back to say these words and actually live by them.. Now I know that we all carry the same responsibilities. We're all warriors, we're all a part of this, we're a part of something special!

I feel you sister.. I never vibed with religions much either. His humble soul and courageous heart speaks a universal language to those ready to reconnect with spirit and walk a path to reconnect with Mother Earth. The message is more empowering than most religious institutions messages are... it says be a woman among women or a man among men.. a protector.. a guardian.. a healer.. we are invited to become the medicine this world needs... no middle men or saviors required.. we are the ones we have been waiting for.

I vividly remember sitting on my balcony in the pouring rain with a little speaker while I was in rehab, playing this song on repeat and singing along until the words became ingrained to my soul. Each time I walk in the rain I remember that moment of healing, and I am so grateful for these words of guidance, for how SOMEHOW, though the song is "so familiar to memory", each time I hear it, I understand a deeper meaning and can apply it to my earthly experience in new ways. Thank you for this song. I struggle with staying sober, but songs like this bring back memories of how beautiful life can be with a clear mind, a cleansed soul, and pure intentions. 💕

I’m experiencing healing from this music every time I hear it. In my opinion This is better/ more effective than conventional therapy and medication treatments at least which may work for some? At least from personal experience , however This Music lifts me up spiritually!!! Never got that with therapy. Being uplifted spiritually is one of the most empowering things you can do as a human . I saw Medicine For the people at RedRocks 2019 ,take your power back tour with my wife and Sagittarius Son on a Sagittarius full moon / bestest ever Fathers day! I seized my power back hand to the sky as a Nahko Bear playing piano with lightning crackling and bolting across the mountains behind him ! Straight chills and felt in my heart more in church gathered in the presence of God . AKA the Great Spirit Nahko Amazing AF musical shaman! I took three airplanes home to Alaska and got custody of my son! We’ve a 9:26 Great Spirit 🎉to which we all return at the end of this Journey. Grandma died Yesterday I’m praying for Strength in my new beginnings! Thanks to anyone who took the time to read. Medicine Tribe for Life #a better life . 🫶🏻 ☮️ wish me luck and prosperity on my pursuit of happiness.

As pure as the rose, is to the nose Nahko and Medicine for the People Is purposeful prose, raw emotion, for the good of all. He lulls his words, like the Emperors new clothes, Naked and Brave. The soul of a Warrior who concurred his rage, from wars he did not wage. Then he fought any way. Much Love and Respect, Good vibes to All.

"Wash It Away" We're a part of something special We're a part of something special We're a part of something special It's a crack in time, a wrinkle Fallen from the nest, young eagle I will pull my feathers out Stay humble Stay humble Stay humble Stay humble Stay humble Uncle Mana taught us like an elder Took us under, older brother He said This is powerful country This is powerful country And we felt like we were returning To our land rebels And the shepherds of the sea Takers are taking what the leavers will leave So grieve me the black prince cicada Such a loud voice for a tiny creature, oh Teach me to let go of all of my pain I do forgive, I don't forget these things I do forgive, I don't forget these things We burn the blue gum for a safe passageway Drink of the earth, smoke of the dirt And my warpaint was red ochre clay Hoka hey My warpaint was red ochre clay Hoka hey Red ochre clay Our prayers igniting, cast out into the shire And the song of our struggle Came straight from the fire It goes: Holy, holy grandmother, we sing Wash us clean of our pain and suffering Give us strength for our new beginnings In my best thanks I sing It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up Ooh lift 'em up (yeah) Ooh lift 'em up (yeah) Ooh lift 'em up (yeah) Ooh lift 'em up In my dreams you were an aboriginal man Gave me your hat And your past in one hand You said You've come to be with the rainbow serpent Red hands, red land, red worship Red hands, red land, red worship Just then I heard bush mama crying in the chasms For a stolen generation And the children that haven't Come home, come home, stay home Come home, come home, stay home My bullets are my words And my words are my weapons Chain me to the pipeline For our rivers and mountains, we scream Today's a good day for my ego to die Today's a good day for my ego to die Spirit, live on in my heart In my body, my mind In my body, my mind Then sister crow came with the murder that day So we tattooed the bird nation onto our faces She said, "we sing to let go of all of our pain We dance the story To remember when things changed" Remember when things changed Remember when things changed Holy, holy grandmother, we sing Wash us clean of our pain and suffering Give us strength for our new beginnings In my best thanks I sing It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up It'll wash away, it will wash away Lift 'em up Ooh lift 'em up (yeah) Ooh lift 'em up (yeah) Ooh lift 'em up (yeah) Ooh lift 'em up We danced the ghost dance in two separate countries To this old song So familiar to memory The road will teach you how to love and let go It can be lonely but it's the only thing That we've ever known It can be lonely but it's the only thing That we've ever known Our mommas told us Let go of jealousy And for vagabonds and vagrants, that won't come so easy We've come from nothing Nothing We have come from nothing Nothing So teach me to love you in a different way Same cuts, same guts, same crazy Same cuts, same guts, same crazy I traveled halfway across the country and back Only to find love undefined And I'm okay with that 'Cause I'm gonna be a guardian Be a man among men Be a guardian Be a man among men Or be a woman Among women Be a guardian Be my friend Be my friend We're a part of something special We're a part of something special We're a part of something special It's a crack in time, a wrinkle Fallen from the nest, young eagle I will pull my feathers out Stay humble Stay humble Stay humble Stay humble Stay humble
