The lady talking about this pettiness between artists was copied from the US doesn't know what she is talking about. There have been legendary feuds between artists in Nigeria. Kolington and Barrister, Salawa Abeni and Kolington to name just a few had public feuds that lasted for years.

I think having this rivalry between our artists is a good thing because it may lead to street violence just like football clubs fans, you don't insult another club in the presence of its fans if you do you collect. The artists are suppose to support one another to grow bigger instead of bragging egos on each other. The down side of this is people loose their careers, stands, fans, prestige, contracts other statements as a celebrity. Healthy competition is encouraged by reaching new heights. The sky is big enough for every bird.
