I’ve been watching Ian since the OG cod days. Dude was THE best. However he has a lot of money and connections compared to others. Great for him. Seriously. But I know people on my iRacing friends list that would run LAPS around him IRL. If u got money, you can race. Simple as that. Great for Crim tho.

@@ViszysClips yeah it’s unfortunate how hard it is to get into a series like that. There could be some really amazing drivers out there that have never gotten the chance to prove themselves on track.

nade doesn't know, but Porsche Sprint Cup is a huge series that costs millions to enter and run a car. On a budget, your looking at maybe a million USD per season

if you plan to run your own team with your own personnel, then yes this is accurate. but for a driver to enter a team by paying your probably looking at 200-300k per season depending on the team and not including damage.

@@PeterStiller915 definitely not Porsche Sprint challenge, I work for a racing team that used to run 991.2 Cup Cars and it was around a million a season per car. The drivers would pretty much have to cover most if not all of the cost. It’s still a business at the end of the day and team needs to make money.

@@gastonriquelme9048 I'm sorry mate, but as a driver, a season doesn't cost that much money. I'm literally in talks for a seat in Porsche cup next season and that price is nowhere near what you are saying. 300-350k max if you really have a lot of budget to spend to properly do the season with a top team, 400k if you're really a maniac about wanting more new sets of tires, end of discussion. There is no way a driver, in 1 season of Porsche Cup. mind you, 1 championship that is, spends 1 million in 1 year, those are costs comparable to FIA F3, which now, unfortunately, is only increasing in cost.

Crazy thing is, at least in this clip, he's leaving a good chunk of lap time on the table. He's got room to be a good bit faster, and he's already winning at his current pace

Big props to the sound! It’s hard to get the wind noise reduced enough at the track to sound good. Requires a good amount of work to get a good mic mounted in the correct spot… Let alone to stream with that quality audio.

That info isn’t that valuable tbh. Even f1 which is just an engineering arms race displays all that info for the world to see. Plus, you could easily just have people posted up with radar guns and it’s not exactly hard to hear what he’s doing with the throttle and when he’s shifting and braking.
