His preparation, for matches is incredible , opponents beaten mentally knowing they would have to play 3+ hours to beat him on clay , because he will run down every point

That'll quiet down those Nole fans who kept saying "wait until Rafa meets the real player Nole, who will smash him". Well Here he is, Rafa showed again why he is the genius and the legend, the way he climbed back up on 4th set proves that you never count Nadal out. H2h wouldn't suggest it, take clay out of it and it's one sided. King of Clay getting beaten by Djokovic last year and super close this year. Nole gave up AO open never forget that, because Rafa would get trashed in straights by Nole like he did last time at AO. We will see, at one point Djokovic was like 10 15 slams behind Rafa/Roger, don't get excited too soon.

From the BIG3 you can see that (not counting the trolls and haters) Nole is respected, Rafa is admired and Roger is loved. Its all about behavior and how they carry themselves really.

This was war!! The rackets were guns and the balls were missiles. This was meant to be the final but was played as the quarter finals!!! What a brilliant match!!

Rafa’s forehand DTL was on fire like 2013,14 FO and that’s what put Djokovic in passive mode only if Rafa plays like this he can beat Djokovic on any surface…Hope Rafa plays for at least 2 more years but it seems unlikely.. I don't understand why all these Novak-fans keep accusing Rafa for doping and that he is faking his injury. You could see that he was in a lot of pain when he played against Shapovalov in Rome, and then he said afterwards he's been dealing with a chronic left foot injury his entire life and that he's been playing with a lot of pain many times before. I as a Rafa-fan can respect Novak Djokovic as player and person and also many of his fans who can at least accept that he either didn't have his best day or that his opponent was the better player. Nadal is in my opinion the greatest fighter of all time and the true G.O.A.T because of the injuries he's been dealing with all these years, and soon at 36 still be capable of competing against the top players and fight for slams. Anyways, it was a great match, I barely had any sleep because it was around 2 am when this match had ended. Truly worth it. Hopefully we'll get to see more of these two against each other in the future. Now, go and get the #22 Rafa!

Rafa might lose often against Federer and Djokovic in smaller M1000 matches, but in Grand slams where it really matters, he almost beats 'em every time! That's why he is the GOAT next to his 22 Grand Slams! (Coming from Djoko fan)

What are you talking about, Nadal beats Novak on Roland Garros on clay, on hard and grass Novak is better. They played most on clay, 10 matches in Roland Garos, only two in Australian open and 3 in Wimbledon. If Novak at end of his career has same number of grand slam with Nadal, Novak is GOAT.

After 2011.when Novak started to play good, they played only 2 times in Wimbledon and 2 times in Australian open and Novak beats all 4 matches Nadal. Nadal avoid Novak in Australian open and Wimbledon. If they played so many times there as on Roland Garros, score would be much diferent.

This is so understandable. Cause he lost and he was disappointed plus he was angry because of audience, almost everyone was supporting Nadal. So I can't criticise him even I am a Rafa fan too. Novak is a great player. And I think Novak deserves much more respect than he got so far.

I am really happy for Nadal and he is always my favourite tennis player. But I felt sorry for Novak during the match because audience was not respectful to him.

One of the best matches in recent years. Even better than their matches 2021 and 2020. 2017-2020 were fabulous years, better than 2014-2016, but I miss 2007-2013 when we would get these type of matches almost every week.

without clay and slow hard court how many did he really win, before 2007 and after 2016 he was mot that good on hardcourt. the time between is when they used slower balls and hardcourt.
