የአለም የኤደስ ቀን እና የአለም አቀፍ የአካል ጉዳተኞች ቀን በጋራ ተከበረ፤

አለም አቀፍ የአካል ጉዳተኞች ቀን በኢትዮጵያ ለ30ኛ ጊዜ እና በዓለም ለ31ኛ ጊዜ አካታች የፈጠራ ስራ እና ሽግግራዊ መፍትሄ ለኢትዮጵያ አካል ጉዳተኞች ሁለንተናዊ ተደራሽነት በሚል መሪ ቃል ተከብሯል፡፡ እንዲሁም በዕለቱ የአለም የኤድስ ቀን ፋትሃዊ እና ተደራሽ የኤችአይቪ / ኤድስ አገልግሎት በሚል መሪ ቃል ተከብሯል፡፡
የአመልድ ኢትዮጵያ ዋና ዳይሬክተር ከፍተኛ አማካሪ አቶ ደጀኔ ምንልኩ መድረኩን በንግግር ሲከፍቱ እንደተናገሩት የአካል ጉዳተኝነት ላይ ሚደርስ ችግርን እና ኤችአይቪ ኤድስን ለመከላከል ሁሉም ሰራተኛ የድርሻውን ሊወጣ ይገባል ብለዋል፡፡
መረጃዎች እንደሚጠቁሙት በዓለም አንድ ቢሊዮን (15 በመቶ) ሰዎች የአካል ገዳተኛ ናቸው፡፡ በኢትዮጵያ ደግሞ የ2011 ዓ.ም የአለም ባንክ ጥናት እንደሚያሳየው 17.6 በመቶው ህዝብ የአካል ጉዳተኛ ነው፡፡ እንዲሁም በዓለም 38.4 ሚሊዮን ሰዎች በኤችአይቪ ኤድስ ተጠቅተዋል፡፡ በኢትዮጵያ ደግሞ 670 ሺህ ሰዎች (ሴ፡ 390 ሺህ ) የቫይረሱ ተጠቂ ሁነዋል፡፡
በመድረኩ የአካል ጉዳተኞችን በተመለከተ አነቃቂ ንግግር በተጋባዥ እንግዳ ቀርቧል፡፡ እንዲሁም የአካል ጉዳተኞችን አገልግሎት ለማሳለጥ የሚያግዝ የምልክት ቋንቋ ለሰራተኞች ገለጻ ተደርጓል፡፡ በመጨረሻም በአካል ጉዳተኞች የሰርከስ ትርኢት ከቀረበ በኋላ ፕሮግራሙ ተጠናቋል፡፡

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities was celebrated for the 30th time in Ethiopia and for the 31st time in the world with the theme of “Trans-formative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable wold”. Also, World AIDS Day was celebrated with the theme of “Equalizing putting ourselves to the test: achieving equity to end HIV”. Dejene Menlku, Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of ORDA Ethiopia opened the workshop with a speech and said that every employee should do his part to to take care of persons with disability and to prevent and HIV/AIDS.
According to statistics, one billion (15 percent) people in the world are physically disabled. In Ethiopia, according to the 2011 World Bank survey, 17.6 percent of the population is disabled. On the other part, 38.4 million people worldwide are affected by HIV/AIDS, and in Ethiopia, 670 thousand people (F: 390 thousand) have became victims of the HIV virus.
In the forum, a motivational speech about the person with disability was delivered by the invited guest. Also, sign language has been introduced to staff to help facilitate services for the person with disability, and a circus treat was presented by persons with disability.
