I knew that this game's Recomp was pretty GPU intensive but damn I didn't think it would be this much. Regardless, a very cool project and an incredible achievement for N64 preservation

@@marklarz4399 I mean yeah I run the game at 165fps too but even then I run TF2 at max settings in 1440p 165fps and my GPU seems to be working less hard. Then again TF2 uses DirectX 9 while this uses DirectX 12 so idk

@@Green_Stache_Productions TF2 used to use a single cpu core and was a 32 bit app until not long ago, depending on your processor that might be a good or a bad thing, it depends on how it handless bottlenecks. this recomp thing is new to me but i guess it allows for the game to run pretty much boundless

It's running at 160+ FPS and using roughly 80% GPU so it still has some leg room The resolution is not stated I imagine 1440p or 4k which is power hungry on any game

Cant wait for ray tracing and hd texture support, this is gonna be awesome once it's complete.
Finally, they made a port of Majora's Mask the GOAT
Question though: I've found the save data location per the Gituhub notes and want to convert my .fla save to use with this. Is that possible?
what is the app you used to count the performance? this is the first one i see shows the power draw from gpu

There are already some PS1 ports aswell, take a look to Crash CRT the game is still in development because is not a port at all

It'll look better than UE5 once we can replace models and textures and implement pathtracing. Apparently all of that is in the works and some people even have short footage of their progress

No. This is a completely different type of port than the decompilation project. Check out Nerrel's video on this topic.
So now you're working some ideas for Zelda 64 games? If you're planning on working Ocarina of time to make it look like the spaceworld 96, please share some info with me

@Unreal64 I have read. It only works for Majora's Mask. Ocarina of time is not available. And I probably understand that well. I've tried to use Sharpocarina, but it didn't work that well. Also, I never used Blender 3d software before(try the software, didn't understand how to use it yet), I'm using Lightwave 3d. I'm just curious about how you'll be able to capture the textures from Zelda 64 spaceworld 96 that have never been used from the final version if you're planning to work on it.

They literally can't. There's no original assets or code, you have to provide your own rom to play it.
