Same here! I can understand 95% and am sooo happy. But when it comes to speaking... It's a different story. So glad to find resources like this catering to beginners. Really thoughtful and well done. Thank you! Just started listening to your podcasts on Spotify as well. Just one thing... Could you enable English cc on the KZread videos? 😅

I have listened to so many podcasts and only when I listen to Shun's then i feel more encouraged. He used simple enough words, spoke at a good pace and also articulate everything very clearly. I feel that my studying paid off when I come to his channels, whereas when I tried other podcasts, it leaves me defeated. Thank you Shun for your good work.

I just love the way Japanese people speak to each other 😁😁😁 the constant interjections (いいですね, はい, そうですね and そうですか) are so wholesome, you don't get that in English 😭😭 Anyway, makes me even more determined to become fluent in Japanese so I can speak like this too 😁😁😁🤣🤣 Thank you as always Shun-sensei 🙏

Gramaticall, I am technically level B1, since I passed the exam. However, my listening skills are so bad. It's somehow very hard for me to follow a conversation. When I read the same text, it's no problem at all. But this vlog playlist is 1st more intersting than just audio, and 2nd so much easier to understand. It's a little bit too easy for me, but the experience is still great. It's very motivating, even tho I still have to force myself not to read along sometimes. Thank you for these videos, truly a great help!

Hi Shun, Usually, I listen to your podcasts on Spotify. I have to say that I really love your podcasts. It helps me so much... Thank you very much for all this work. I have just discovered this video and I love it too. I'm learning Japanese at evening school (I'm working the whole day so...). I passed the JLPTN5 last July. I hope I will be able to pass the JLPTN4 next year. I recommended your podcasts to my classmates. By the way, I'm from Belgian (I'm half French half Belgian) so my mothertongue is French (that's why my English is way from perfect ^^). PS : I understood nearly everything (there were just 2 words I didn't know).

ありがとうしうんっさん!It's so much work to do all the subtitles on top of the recording itself. I really felt like I was taking part in a simple Japanese conversation and I could understand quite a lot. This is great for learning in context and reinforcing what we have all already learnt at N5 level! :) The sound level was quite low (I was listening through headphones with the volume on full and I would have liked it a bit louder.....Maybe I'm going deaf in my old age :)) ). Looking forward to the next conversation!
