I discovered this song when I was stopped at a red light, a GMC Sierra Double Cab on 26’s pulls up, dude had like 5 percent tint on all windows. I’m sure he had at least 4 12’s in his set up, my whole entire car was shaking from the bass, shit was sick. All you saw was smoke flowing out the top of the pitch black window and the bass bumpin in your chest. Dude was big chillin.

I went for a drive by myself a few nights ago here in LA. I was bumping this banger with the windows down like I have for over 25 years. (it's the only way to listen to it) While stopped at a red light I faintly hear some guy yelling. Seems like he's yelling at me from 2 cars back. Dude on a Harley pulls up next to me at the next light and yells "Fuck yeah, Back to the Hotel!" It was a simple gesture showing mutual respect and love for a timeless classic. Its true! I think the layering helps where it transitions from sax to guitar and back. Makes it feel a lot larger.

Went to my nephew Jaeden’s girlfriend baby shower Saturday and found out that the main singer of this group is her Father. Wow. Great song and will never forget this song.

Story of my life. I thank God and the people I met in AA and NA fir helping me pick myself off and dust myself off. And it was more than once. I never ever wanted to be an addict or alcoholic. I grew up with a "monster" of a father who was an alcoholic and was terrified of him. Because of the pain and trauma I became the same thing. I'll never forget the friend that told me Man you are FN Mean! And the one that called me out cold fir being a stone cold addict. I finally an clean and sober today. My hope is everyone whos walked this path finds hope abd peace one day. ❤

And this guy walks up to me and ask me to buy him a beer. we started talking him and his homey were from Redwoid city and I said i was born and raised in San Jo... they said they were rappers coming out with a record... we drank and partied that nite . Than what do you know abot a month later this song came out.... this was in 91 or 92 .. wow time goes by quick......Cool ass memory that I will never forget......
