Yeah it's not going to be ideal lol. I've considered some solutions already.

Great progress! A small farm scene would be perfect in that corner. I have a similar corner on a curve that I will do that with. I’ll use some selective compression for the farmhouse and barn as my space is not big enough for an N scale one.

Avoid the plaster on your inclines and risers. Take a lesson from Mike Fifer that I use successfully. Get a thin paper masking tape and tape the top of your inclines and risers. It works. It will last for years. You will be able to paint it and ballast the inclines and risers. No mess and no fuss. Allows you t move on with your track laying. Looking good.

Interesting idea that I may need to check out. However I still need to plaster in a hill behind the track anyways.

I made the backdrops myself. I got the pictures off Shudderstock

if there are "really great deputies in the department" they would not allow scum like this guy to remain among their ranks.
