Keau saying the reason why he wants to call of the engagement & saying "How can I show you my true self?" he is basically being brave/comfortable enough to let Lian know its not his true self & the conversation between them after that & Lian saying "If two people love each other they have to make some adjustments" is basically him hinting that he loves Keau & that he is trying to overcome his insecurities. That's a big relationship & character development. This conversation was the first step of them opening up to each other. The honesty & sincerity in their words made me tear up.

Holy shit the soundtrack during the kiss?? Also the kiss? I don't think I was breathing during that whole scene omg that was so well done?? Like the emotion in the moment is what really got me and how it's that Lian is showing for the first time TO Kuea that he's attracted to him. And it was just so well done I'm emotional rn I think the music had a big part to play it was so good

The kiss scene in this episode is literally the most beautiful ive ever seen, its sensual , tender and soft, displaying their emotions so well, both of them showing signs of shyness and awkwardness yet eagerness to have more … highlighting the rings on their fingers… i cant get over it … especially with the music added and the cinematography it just added so much magic to it !

Hia Lian can KISS. Like wtf i genially got shivers going down my arms, when he gone for second kiss and it looked so soft... Whole scene seemed so delicate and fragile that I was afraid to move so they wouldn't get spooked lol, so for this whole scene I sat here all transfixed like someone put a spell on me. And usually I'm just get skirmish and a bit uncomfortable seeing kissing scenes like this in Bl and not BL series. One of most engaging kissing scenes I seen for sure.

one word to describe this series "perfection". the actors are top tier they all have chemistry with each other. I have high respect for the production they never fail me, from the start to end it's perfect. NEVER had a second of disappointment, every scene is entertaining. it's my 1st time seeing an BL series as high class as this. well written plus good casting = PHENOMENAL. kudos to the people who helped each other to makes this MASTERPIECE.

The kiss did not feel out of place or too much honestly. They have both been having feelings and holding back for so long so when the damn gets broken, all emotions start rushing out. For Lian, his dam cracked in the car kiss and we saw the steady stream pour out until he could no longer hold everything together and exploded in the kitchen. For Kuea, he never knew Lian wanted like that and finally receiving something he has always longed for in such an intensity from Lian blasted his own walls to smithereens and he soaked up all what he was getting and gave back with as much intensity. I'M CRYING!!

The kitchen kiss spoke loads...Hia Lian's pain when Kuea said "Now I understand why you don't love me?" and Kuea bursting in tears...that kiss was so perfect...they both needed this kiss to vent out their true feelings...I could feel the kiss through the scene...I am very touched by their love...WHERE IS MY SOULMATE IN THIS WORLD WHEN I NEED THEM???? Who else saw that mole on Zee's back? HEHEEE....I can hear you calling me "PERVERT"...but that's me!

What I like the most is, we can see the pauses Lian give between each section to make sure Kuea is okay with it. Though he does not verbalize it, he gives enough time if Kuea wants to pull back. After the first kiss he pauses (9:35), after placing Kuea on the counter he pauses (10:07), and after he pulls Kuea's pajama aside he pauses (11:07). Every time he pauses he stares into Kuea's eyes to make sure he is okay. Each stage of progression in this kiss was so damn intimate and it portrayed a beautiful consent without words. This kiss was so DAMN BEAUTIFUL that it made me want to analyze each and every aspect of it!!!! I'm officially dead. The kiss scene blew me out of the universe. The way it's shot with the background music legit gave me goosebumps and butterflies. The lighting gave it a dreamscape feel and I believe that is exactly what Kuea and Lian feels like. They are both in paradise...finally doing something both have craved for a long long time.

The way Lian at first just pecked kuea's lips before going for a full kiss to make sure he wasn't uncomfortable. He slowing took steps and checked every second if Luea was uncomfortable.

Actually the problem with Kuea is that he isn't confident in himself and his relationship with Lian. He is always insecure and thinks he isn't enough for Lian. The expression in Lian's face when he realised Kuea is crying is so heartbreaking. He understand how complicated Kuea's feelings have become towards this relationship. Kyea is in constant doubt about it and Lian fears that Kuea might give up someday. Lian's expressions shows how scared he is with the thought of Kuea misunderstanding his motivate behind scolding him. The way his eyes immediately turned soft and filled with concern and regret. The scene was so well executed. I like the fact that this scene is different from the novel as in the novel this scene was more dominating and hot but here in the series it's more of a soft abd loving filled with concern. The way Lian looked at Kuea's expressions before every step he took in the last scene screams consent

Lian's expression caused by the waitress was the best thing about this episode. He totally had that coming. She wasn't wrong though. If they hadn't told us it was a date, I would have thought the same thing. Hopefully that woke him up now and he can openly start showing how much he loves Kuea.

I almost passed out from holding my breathe watching this wonderful kissing scene. It was perfect in every way and both actors showed how much they really cared about their performance and each other. Kuea brought tears to my eyes when he began to cry and finally tell Hia how heartbroken and feeling inadequate he was feeling and Hia Lian was perfect in his response. This episode was worth the week long wait. Parts 1, 2, and 3 spotlighted the bond felt between Kuea and all his friends very well and emphasized the comfort and caring during hard times that a true friend can give. Syn's character has real integrity but he is disingenuous about hormonal urges, making him so cute and attractive. (I will now learn the precepts he talks about to better understand his thinking.) Nuea's character is rather overconfident and obviously not used to losing at what he attempts in life. His base character is still quite a mystery as yet so it will be interesting to see what happens in his future actions. Daio and Hia Yi are now facing the same lack of understanding and miscommunication Kuea and Hia Lian were dealing with but Hia Yi is not handling it well at all. Zee has just reinforced my belief in who he is inside as a person and I am thrilled with his performance. NuNew continues to surprise and reinforce his acting abilities and is proving a perfect partner for Zee so far. Hats off to everyone connected with this series once again. Blessed be from Winnie halfway around the world.

4:52 I'm sorry but this line is very powerful to the whole reason Kuea wants to call off the engagement. Hia had told Kuea in his office that he didn't love him and that 2 people didn't have to be in love to get married. He told him he was doing it out of a commitment he made to his grandfather but he is not in love. That's when Kuea said if there isn't love then he is calling off the engagement. Now, when Hia said "when 2 people love each other" Kuea was supposed to say "Hia, you love me?" It's the first time Hia declared his love to him. The writers messed this up. Kind of cheesy.

You can see the pain and emotion in Hia Lian (Zee) eyes 8:53 when Nunew said, I understand why you don't love me. It hurts having your own words thrown right back in your face. Words can hurt and Nunew has been carrying those words since Hia Lian said it and now Hia Lian has realized that. Zee your acting is on point I am truly enjoying your performance. You have been nailing every expression when needed. I am so happy to see you on this series. Well done.

Except he didn't even seem to remember saying them because during their date he asked why he wanted to break off the engagement was it because he didn't spend enough time with him? It's like no you moron you said you didn't love him and they engagement was only an obligation lol

Even before the actual kiss you could see all Hia's feeling in his eyes. The whole scene was magial. The music was so soft and tender, the lighting as well. It didn't feel forced or embarrassing. They could finally shere their feelings for one another wihout actually saying anything.

The whole embarrassment on Hia's Face when that waiter girl said that it looks nice seeing an older brother taking his younger brother out for a date was so funny but also reminded Hia deep inside of the age gap between him and Nukea and so it's usual for people to see them out in public places together and recognize them as brothers or relatives instead as in this open minded harsh world of nowadays some people still think it's impossible for two people to love each other regardless of age or gender or social status they will always think and believe whatever they want to 😭😭😭😭😭😭

The look of sheer PANIC on Hia’s face when Kuea starts crying and saying he understands why he doesn’t love him, MY GOD! He is really whipped an Kuea has no idea. 😂 Edit: 700 likes? If this was twitter I’d say, “I have nothing to promote” lmao

I almost died! I was never ready for that kind of kiss scene. I was waiting for a little kiss and an apology, but what the director and actors gave us was a masterpiece of love demonstration. I was so mad at Hia for making Nu-kuea cry even when he told him he was not good at cooking at all, he just wanted to try, my heart broke into pieces in that part. Then my heart kept breaking with Hia's face expression when he realized how bad he had made Nu-kuea feel, and the way he had been feeling all this time, it was pure regret and love combined. The way he wiped the tear and the kiss, OH MY GOSH that was the most pure "I'm sorry and I love you with all my heart and soul" then the rest was an spectacle worth to see it. The urge, the need, the love, the freedom, wow! I will not overcome this in soo looog. Wonderful BL! Looooveee iiiiit

Yes! Hia’s face was so immediately distressed. He looked heartbroken. It was the only way he could have looked that could have made me forgive him completely like I did for making that baby cry. And that kiss! Oh my. It was a stunner. The kiss was the most honest thing in the room. It was “I love you. I’m sorry.” And it was also Nu-Kuea’s “I forgive you”. Once they got that out of the way the kiss said “I think you are sexy.” 😂

The fact that here they weren't dating but in season two they are! And can't believe it's been 8-10months since this series started and now it even has a season 2!!✨😭❤️

It's also symbolic because this is what Lian has been waiting for all his life, to show Kuea how much he loves him, that he values him more than anything in this world, even himself, so he pushes Kuea on top of the counter, making Lian look up at him, to worship him, like Kuea is his sun, his moon and his star

The kiss scene is pure perfection, seeing Kuea's sadness and Hia's worry turn into burning passion for each other was beautiful and the soundtrack makes it look like a core memory, which I'm sure this kiss will be, one of many for them. KUEA BABY, P' HIA FINALLY KISSED YOU, I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU BABY

I'm watching it for the 7th time & I only realized now that the conversation between them from 3:06 to 5:30 is the first step of them opening up to each other. The honestly & sincerity in their words made me tear up.

Hia lian really paused and made eye contact with NuKeaue to make sure he’s okay and get his consent. P.S the editors, cameraman, music composer, light crew really did an outstanding job. I was waiting for Hia lian to finally show his love towards kuea and he FINALLY did. This is probably my favorite episode yet.

This scene is so beautiful I can't even remember how many times I've watched it!

I like how Hia keeps looking at Kuea's facial expression and his eyes..looking for any signs of hesitation or refusal in the last few minutes of this episodes. Its not just about the tension and heat of the moment but his respect for him is still there..love this episode and love their acting...I love the use of light and background music..its sensual but pure at the same time..

The thing that touched me the most was, the moment Nu-Kuea said "I understand now, why you don't love me" to Hia, you can see the pain in Hia's eyes too, it's like him understanding all that Kuea had over his mind and all that he wasn't able to get it even though he always wanted him to be more vocal towards himself. This kiss right there, it's a beautiful way of showing to the viewers the way Hia let his tough, strict image go and finally show Kuea how much he means to him, and that just because he isn't someone who is able to show his emotions well doesn't mean he loved Kuea less than how much Kuea loved him. It's equal. It was equal since the beginning. Both parties wanting to be perfect towards each other, not knowing it's them themselves what made them fall for each other. The coming episodes review makes me feel so overwhelmed of knowing that Hia finally understanding that to know Kuea's world he needs to show his first. CUTIE PIE the series, you are my favourite BL already. This is beautiful, the love that you both have is.
