Fantastic! Congratulations! And, Thank you! I've been on NAC for almost a decade. (And D3/K2, Krill) I take 600 mg/BID, twice that when sick. Also 600mg glutathione IM Weekly. It was unconscionable for them to interfere with the market during the pandemic... I wish that was the only action & inaction which was though. Regardless, thank you again. I'm Canadian, so NAC has remained available to us throughout the past year. They are marketed as being for lung and liver health, in 500 mg or 600 mg dosages. I was so shocked that just when NAC seemed to be a helpful supplement for treating viral respiratory illnesses, it was pulled from US shelves/websites! I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but THAT was 🐟🐠🐡🐟🐠🐡.

Congratulations on the award, you guys deserve it! My question is this: Why don't governments talk about fresh air, sunshine, and exercise, NAC, Vitamin D, near infrared radiation benefits, reducing obesity, etc., etc.? I understand that the shots helped a lot of people (and sadly were unhealthy for some), but why didn't our government take a broader approach and tell people all of the helpful things in the fight against covid??

I think there’s a culture that healthcare has to be run by randomized placebo controlled trials on medications only. This seems to be the situation since the 1920s. We’re trying to change that realizing that there is a place in medical care for technology and medication. But the best way to avoid those things is to do what we’ve just mentioned and get sunlight, rest, exercise, proper diet, etc.

Please keep in mind that many policymakers simply do not care about others. Many are empathy-deficient, while others care more about being admired or being "right". When you are a decent human being, with a reasonably well-calibrated moral compass it is sometimes difficult to wrap your head around those facts. NOTE: I'm not saying "all" of them are that way, I'm saying far too many of them are empathy-deficient and/or seeking public admiration rather than being purveyors of truth, facts, and consideration of the greater good.

I took all the supplements (still do, except for NAC which, as noted, became unavailable!) It's possible I had Covid and just did not know it - but it hasn't affected me personally at all this entire time. IMO, CDC/WHO failed miserably in their messaging and guidance. We were left to navigate the storm and educate ourselves with no help from the "experts." Thank goodness for astute clinicians like Dr. S to give us the information we so desperately needed.

That makes sense because some part of nerve pain is due to oxidative stress. You might also want to look into high dose thiamine (B1) or benfotiamine (fat soluble B1). Benfotiamine gave me nearly complete resolution of my non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy. It took only about two weeks. I ran out of it and my PN was creeping back until I received another shipment. There are articles on PubMed about high dose thiamine and nerve pain relief. I was considering trying high dose thiamine if benfotiamine hadn't worked. I recently read an article in Life Extension magazine about palmitoylethanolimide (also called PEA, but not the only substance called PEA), they presented research showing that it helped relieve or reduce nerve pain in most of the people who took it. I think it included fibromyalgia.

I encouraged my family and friends to look at your channel and take a higher Vit D dose alonside the other suplements and I was also keen to try NAC but unfortunately I'm also taking the minimal preventative dose of Apixaban for which interactions are somewhat unknow hence it's not advisable. Still all the info you provided is hugely appreciated and it gave me and undoubtedly countless others lots of hope during the Pandemic, who knows perhaps it also helped me when I finally caught the virus towards the end when all restrictions were being eased. Thank you all for the invaluable contributions over these past years ❤
