Have u noticed Taeyong normally records once only? Professionalism. Also, for someone who doesn't even know anything, literally a blank paper, and debuted in the age of 18 to become an ACE now is insane I would say. Taeyong just debuted 4 years back and I'm beyond proud of the fact he is now being looked up by Junior idols and getting praised left and right by industry professionals in all skills that he has. It's incredible and amazing. He is indeed an absolute ACE and of course PILLAR of NCT. Not forgetting the word which came out from the legend Taemin itself that Taeyong is the Master of Concept. I also love how Taeyong is so versatile being able to adapt by many functions or abilities. This consists of there work ethic, vocal switch up and ability to multi-task in complex situations. There are a few versatile rappers in the music industry and Taeyong could be named as one. SM really hit a massive Jackpot with Taeyong by baiting him with just a TOAST, lol. They better treat him like a KING as he is SM's rare diamond. Lastly, Get Well Soon Taeyong and come back stronger than before.

@@ukiss4ever7 okay I don’t know if this is even true but if yes also it’s self learnt and he didn’t professionally trained when he was small. He was street scouted and he worked hard to be who he is now. Literally learning every skills from the basics :)

Taeyong MENTOR hits just differently! I hope the day will come that all his efforts will be recognized properly. He’s boundless and limitless with regards to being an ARTIST. His journey to where he’s now is quite challenging, started with “0” talents & “0” performance skills but look where he’s at now. Leading 22 grown talented artists and mentoring new ones.

Taeyong had talent but it was untapped. He said that he was always praised for his artistic side. So when SM street casted him, although he knew nothing about rap, dance, music, he was able to master it all with his natural talent and hardwork. Taeyong is a true model for new generation of artists!!

He actually had this talent before he joined SM, but like what @Leader Taeyong said, it was untapped. He learned to dance and rap from American rappers and stars when he was a child and his teenage ages, but it wasn't used as his focused hobby, though it was his daily hobby. He just didn't learn from the basics of these talents as he didn't think he would become an idol, he was self-taught in these talents before he got scouted from the company.

While Taeyong in the recording room, he not just thinking about the recording. He also thinks how he should be in front of the camera and what gestures he should use when he rapping his part. He never stopped thinking. That’s why he can give so many ideas that will be so great when he perform.

This video not only proved how much he takes care of the members and guide them, but also his own artistic talent and how the producers trust him and agree with his remarks. Taeyong has worked so much ever since trainee and he is only improving each year. He has become an artist. He has become a pillar; a role model that people look up to. Taeyong, he's not just an idol. He is an artist He started from 0, learned everything in the practice room until today. When I saw the behind-the-scenes clip He will be involved in exchanging ideas with people. Learn and try harder I respect him a lot. It's been 5 years since I knew him. He's still the same person I love him more and more every day.

theres a saying that goes along the lines of "If you're an expert at something, teach it to others. If they can learn it off you well, then you've truly mastered it." Ty works so hard, gives so much and continues to give. When he reassured Sc when he was nervous, you can tell he really cares. Not only that, but giving him advice and putting in his own suggestions and tries to do the recording in Sungchan's style. He knew that Sc gets better when he warms up, so he didnt push him and said to try later. Sungchan, you're so talented, dont be disheartened by those antis, for it will be them that will eat their words. WE ALL LOVE YOU BOTH

the way his face is serious when sungchan's recording his verse but when sungchan miss the beat his face automatically turns to a smile and say "it's okay" really just .. 💔 , TAEYONG BEST LEADER , I HOPE EVERYONE CAN SEE HOW TALENTED AND CARING HE IS :(

Taeyong is so impressive and inspiring. Everyday I'm amazed by him. He did not have a background in music at all before joining SM at 18. He was not exposed to any music-related training at all before that. Exposure to anything during earlier age help a lot with one's skillset and ability to learn new things on top of a basic foundation. For someone with zero music / rap / dance / entertainment until 18, it is beyond impressive how far he has gone. He went from a "blank page" (a SM trainer called him this) to someone who not only excels during his parts but also guides and trains others.

Yeahhhh, that remeber me Kyle hanagami, he started at 18 to dance, and look at him now. One of the most amazing choreographer .. I think perseverance, hard work and love in what you are doing, it is the key.

This is literally what we need. Not only taeyong interacting his kids but also he is guiding them.

Being a leader for Taeyong is not easy. He did so many things for his group.. Thank You Taeyong. Sungchan look afraid when he cannot do the recording. I literally got teary eyed. Taeyong is so gentle with Sungchan, just look at him, constantly encouraging and reassuring him, while also giving good advices. He is such an *amazing* leader, no wonder all of his members respect him so much. I only wish nctzens appreciated him a bit more, instead of attacking him and his abilities or even accusing him in line distribution that he is clearly isn't responsible for. yeah he deserves all of his titles and positions because actually taeyong is a genius, not a regular idol at all. as for line distribution: he is barely in the neo zone album and frankly he is a main rapper, like how can he not have lines. the best songs are when they let him do his thing and write or compose. it will be more fair in the end, just look at resonance, there are 4 title tracks and he's only in 1 (there are members who are part of 2 title tracks), so he was not being advantaged but it's just I think because he has such a great impact when he does his parts, that's why some people still think that he has many parts when it's not true. Class performance was the longest TY rap we've had in a very long while. And he nailed it perfectly.

But not only them, he truly have artistic visionary, like, his ideas are soo good and creative, they make truly powerful impact on nct's sound, they bring something special in it. So true! Haters just obsessed with him and have a tunnel vision, it infuriates me! It's been years since they started reducing his lines ever since Superhuman, but people still drag him. Honestly, I'm kinda going feral at them at this point. And I'm so done with sm sucking up to them and giving him like, 5 seconds of rap and 3 of adlibs. He is damned main rapper and in skill, not just nominally. He can do so much, but this years SM just bended backwards to please his haters, and people *STILL* hated on him! They are straight up lying to themself and no one cares. I hope in 2021 SM will stop trying to please stupid antis and just let him do his thing!😤

Honestly i kinda feel why people are confused about taeyong being a leader when they first get to know about nct, i mean you dont really feel his power watchig interviews, he is really modest, he dont say hi im nct's leader, he picture himself as member like the rest, but when you get to know him you will surely know that he is not only a cute, handsome guy who seems to be a lil awkward, he is incredibly kind and supportive towards other people, he has million new ideas while he is working and he is always ready to help, members can count on him anytime which is so sweet. So basically maybe he is not an ordinary, strict leader but he is something more, he is like a parent, you feel comfortable around him, what is more he has stunning stage presence and dancing, rap skills, that makes him unique

Nct is so lucky to have Taeyong as their leader. He can be a mentor/teacher, brother and Friend to them. If they wanna ask about music and performance they can ask Taeyong bcs he's main dancer and an producer. Omg I'm so proud of him. 😭

Taeyong is so much more than "just a visual". He's not only the leader because he's part of the hyung line. He has so much more to offer NCT behind the scenes. There's a reason why all 22 members look up to him and his leadership abilities, and why most of the staff he has worked with always compliment him. He basically LIVES in the studio and devotes majority of his time to make music for us. He is super caring towards his members and always know how to support them. I could go on but I just hope people realize how precious he is and start giving him the recognition he deserves. Taeyong we love you 💚

Actually Taeyong knew 'That's we' is not correct. Taeyong asked Mark "But there is no such expression as 'That's we' right?". Then Mark just confirmed yes it should be us. Judging by the context, it seems like Taeyong just wrote down 'That's we' anyway because it fits rhyme. He eventually changed 'we' to 'me' which makes sense.

Taeyong is really the most perfect man ever. He is the center, main dancer, main rapper, face and leader of a million seller group. He is extremely humble, has the best personality ever, can cook and takes care of his members like a mom. Not to mention that he is so crazily talented and hardworking. Plus his face is again a bonus. Its hard to not love TY

That was so impressive. Taeyong is going to be a great producer one day when his dancing days are done. I can see why he's a leader. That last piece of advice about imagining yourself expressing the lyric on stage is totally key. It's so easy to get lost in your head when recording vocals and only concentrating on sound. You can easily lose performance in lyric. It's why recording vs live is so different.

Everybody did a great performance but we cannot lie that there is big hole or a missing strong charismatic aura.

Yes. He adds so much flavor to the performances and it's not something against anyone, that's his talent, his genius doing it. Even Taemin said it to Taeyong many times that he doesn't have to do anything, even just standing he will look cool and has charisma. He even added that Taeyong is a master of concepts.

His presence commands attention and direction. Whenever he steps on the stage, his presence sets the mood/atmosphere for the whole performance which makes it easier for the members to focus on their own parts and makes each one of them shine more. The energy he has simply overflows to his members.

That's so true! The first time I looked up NCT was because I was curious about Mark (because I heard he was from Canada) but as I watched a dance practice my eyes were glued to Taeyong the whole time. Ever since I saw him I've become a fan. 😍
