Preheat has a video on his channel about how he does it. I believe he used Grid2 for his regular frames (or ELVUI can’t remember) and uses VuhDo for his prescience frames. His video helps you set it up step by step

maybe someone can help me - I struggle a lot deciding between warrior and paladin, mainly in terms of tanking. I like them both and played prot paly a lot this season, it is obviously very strong, but sometimes in pugging I kind of get annoyed by all the helpful stuff I have to do because I can, dealing with affixes, blessings, offheals cause people get damage they could avoid. While on the other hand I find warrior very satisfying and ultra solid in terms of surviving stuff even while undergeared, but I feel in terms of perception I get invitet to groups far less cause warrior brings little to nothing. Also comparing the damage speccs, I think ret is pretty cool but then again what class ain't fun in aoe? On single target I find ret to be super boring and since I also don't care about holy pala I find warrior to be a better package (?) in terms of having two dmg speccs and being able to adjust to the content you play, as well as loving the high apm playstlye of fury. Tier set wise warrior clearly wins for me in terms of looks. I am also interested in maybe playing some bg blitz in 10.2 and have no idea if warrior or paladin are any good in that regard. So if anyone has any feedback on whey they'd gravitate towards one of them more as towards the other, I'd love to hear. And yes, I am aware that all tanks are viable and I am likely to playing in the midrange of 20 keys and not the 0.3% of elite players, it is just about fun and satisfaction about the whole class.

I am a warrior main but for your situation paladin might be better. You have way more options to carry a key, interrupts, heals, party defensives, dispels. Warriors have a bad rep in pugging and have way less utility than paladins. But I like them just because it's a cool class that requires nuance and knowledge of spell reflection

Because it provides +3% versatility, that increases damage and healing and reduces damage taken.

Combat beginners better get the weakaura. Especially "roll the bones" one. Help a bunch until you get the flow of it!

You can have “metas” all you want but when people that are good at their class start driving that’s when you will see the real meta.

so according to this list if i enjoy playing ele shaman i can forget about getting invited to any m+ group when my friends are not online because ele shaman is absolutely useless? u havent even covered him. is it that bad???

MM feels insanly amazing in 10.2 PTR dmg wise... Im doing the most dmg as MM hunter then with any other classes tbh . Why is it then only C tier now even A or B. Just asking :)

I been telling me guild this for sometime and your list more or less points at it. Tank - Blood Death Knight, main reason if their over all magic damage reduction. Yes warriors will be a wild card because of their reflect, but BDK will have constant DR against magic. DH is very close but they have to manage their CDs to best protect themselves. Healer - DPriest. meain reason is they will now bring the most damage, if played will, over other healers and will be able to bring the PI even with the nerfs PI has gotten. Yes Monks will be up there is the damage also but they are more likely get hit by the amount of AOE from enemies making DPriests more a goto because they don't have to be close. DPS 1 - Aug for reasons everyone knows. DPS 2 - Demon Hunter, and this will bring back the so much love debuff that everyone will be able to take advantage of. DPS 3 - the only one that could change around as bring either a Monk, Rogue, Balance, or even a Mage will all play nicely with the comp, but I believe either Balance or Monk will take this spot. Monk only for their debuff to the enemies that the DH and DK will love.

Play DH and Pala as a tank, and DH is better in DPS and once you are in a fight for some sec for soulfragments, the paly is much more forgiving when you make a mistake. Thus I will focus with my DH more on havoc I think.

Not sure how correct it is to put ele in C-tier, considering it’s a top 5 dps spec… this is what you get for asking raiders whether the only dps spec without a raid buff is good when it enters m+

It’s not top 5 in anything other than SIM dps in single target and three target spread cleave. Actually numbers in st will be somewhere around middle of the pack and pretty low for aoe past four targets.

Damage might be ok (tbh i dont think its damage is all that great when the Spenders are Dogshit horrible atm) but lets be real, what does Elemental shaman bring? (1) no raid utility buff (2) spenders like Earthquake and Earthshock dont feel good atm (3) Probably has one the worst Defensive kit in the game (4) finally Enhancement Exist. if you ask me C-tier is the right placement until at least half the problems gets addressed.

@@christopherneil8265 I don't believe that is true any more, since the last two testing periods after then nerf. I believe only nymue, and larodar were tested after the nerfs. Where ele was middle of the pack for both.

@@jako997 Ele has pretty good dungeon utility, just not raid utility. Many stops, quick kick, poison cleansing totem, curse dispel, and AG. I agree it is super squishy.

Elemental shaman got shafted for next season. like blizzard legit didnt even do anything but nerf the tierset and the ele community has been vocal about the weakness of our spenders being so weak. EDIT even RESTO shaman are in a bad spot. like i wonder if blizzard is going to fix this or what.

Sort of. Aug is still mandatory in high keys. Guardian and spriest are in the bin. Hpal is still really good. Fire mage is doing pretty good too but frost might overtake it.

Prot pally better than blood?? Prot sucks to play, you have to move way to much in m+ with the tier set to make it top two. You spend way too many extra gcd's recasting consecration.

I think other than Sanguine weeks (which are annoying anyway as a Pally) and certain boss fights, the consecration issue won't be too bad.

Even if it might suck to play the empowered consecration just deals lots of damage/healing (Golden Path), so it's lower QoL but still standing strong.

@Netox488 I would put it in 3rd in ptr. I would have enjoyed playing it if they could have just increased consecration size. I rate it lower because I want it fixed. Prot pally feels super op when it's meta. It does slams pretty good, not quite dk but pretty close.

None of you are right. Nothing will top exodia comp. It was the strongest comp in patches, and it was able to do 2 to 3 keys higher level than non god comps. Hopefully the 'meta' comp never comes close to what 10.1 looks like.

destro warlock got absolutely fucked this patch :( you dont even use your tier set in m+..... but the tier set is boring and weak anyway, so who cares, still needs some buffs tho.

Im still hopefull about Devastation. Low keys are doomed, but in 20+ keys we might be able to shine a little brighter

I believe they mean from a tank perspective since those other classes have to hold a shield while tanking unlike Blood

God Comp fucked up shadow priest while fire mage and aug evoker got away with this. Unbeliavable.

Honestly i don't hope they will nerf Discipline to the ground. Discipline has unfortunately been D or F tier for maybe 2-3 expansions now. Obviously we might need a small dmg nerf but that's about it.

Sin’s indiscriminate carnage took tip you showed reads as a big nerf. If I recall correctly, currently it applies garrote and rupture to 5 mobs.

Its less targets but no cooldown, so basically if you can get into stealth you can use it and spread the dots for up to 10 secs after leaving stealth
