The Olivine Meteorite I found and sliced , I took photos down through the microscope lenses , about 50 photos, over a slice area 6” x 4” all the photos are different . Beautiful to look at for hours . What are the tiny like red to pink like micro butterfly’s ?? Also micro looking meteorites ? ? Splatters of shiny Ni Fe fragments ( strongly Magnetic ) with clusters of micro grains of Sugartite ! all set in a back drop of green olivine ! My son is going to try to send photos to you . I could possibly send by email ?

Different things for different meteorites, but I have used WD40 on my large Campo for years and them wiped it off a bit...once a year. This has kept ot at zero rust and perfect for decades :-) PS: keep it away from moisture 100%

That's why you always look specifically at true meteorite dealers with IMCA numbers or any other meteoritical associations that is the only way to be safe because true meteorite dealers will always put their IMCA number along with it because I would hate to know I bought a $1,000 dirt clod when it shows up at my house.

Thanks for the great feedback on the show. If you read the comments or the descriptions of the videos you'll quickly learn how many people ask to send me rocks or pictures of their rocks. My reply is the same to everyone. I support those who support me on Patreon. I really hope some of those samples you have are real meteorites and are worth a $25 a month investment to have them submitted to a panel of experts.

its amazing everyone can be an expert on metorites and identify them .but no one can identify a whole space rock.and im not talking about bits and peices and fragments.im talking about rocks that didnt melt because the meteors were creating so many noctralucient clouds in the mesosphere the temperature didnt get hot enough to burn them. but you experts know about the 1833 meteor shower 100 thousand meteors per hour and 240 thousand meteors at the peak hour for nine hours.the meteor smoke produces those clouds and it drops the temperature.and makes it harder for a meteor to burn properly.i have several videos on my u tube channel the messanger.and a metorite can be round if you have 100 thousand of them in the air and a smaller rock gets behind a bigger rock and follows it in the mesosphere.what is funny to me is with as big as the willamette metorite is and it isnt whole cause it melted. that no one thinks a whole space rock could get to earth without melting.

I believe this guys just wanting everybody to see his KZread plug-in so he can get some likes on it because he is basically or I should say you have basically thrown science all Newton's Laws for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction when meteors enter our atmosphere that are big enough to punch through several of the higher atmospheres we're talking at the edge of space where it's negative 70 to 100° Fahrenheit but there are also Oddities for example Carancus in Peru that was a witnessed fall that put a 30 something foot hole in the ground 90 5 ft in diameter the only known chondrite to leave a crater but all of the pieces found had no Fusion crust and they are H4-5 class chondrites and the only explanation astrophysicist meteoritical physicist from every study they said the only hypothesis of them not having a fusion crust was the meteor entered the atmosphere at such a steep angle but was probably going over 100,000 miles an hour and the reaction of atmospheric breaking which of course is where the plasma of Fire and burning hot gases around it just like when the space shuttle entered the atmosphere or capsules from Saturn 5 Rockets came in so fast it didn't have the burn time to have Fusion crust. Honestly think you need to start paying attention more to places like tophers Channel and all those guys inputs there's people on there that have degrees and have been collecting almost all their life I've been collecting for about as much time is Topher has and we've all learned a lot because he obviously makes a big impact when people like doctor Lawrence Garvey gave Topher and the crew access to any and every meteorite and the largest meteorite lab in the world even over NASA and also Jeff notkin a pioneer who learned from some of the greats buy new things that our science is trying to catch up to because we know more about outer space then we do our own oceans but we can and outer space they were collecting rocks in the Sahara decades ago the nomads that are out there with their goats and their camels there should not be any rocks in the desert but back decades ago the science community wasn't even buying odd looking rocks that had caramel like crust on it and they were telling them no I don't want to see that they were only wanting to buy the rocks that had the black Fusion crust but not long after that they started taking some of those odd crusted rocks and found out they were from Mars or from the Moon or from certain asteroids but nobody on toepers Channel is saying their experts but they definitely no hell of a lot because they have seen a hell of a lot from one Spectrum to the other and for people out there who need help identifying stuff at least they have the decency of putting you in contact with people with more knowledge than they have they're not claiming to be the Kings of meteorite identification but in my mind and the way I perceive them is they are angels for even giving their time out of their days to help people and steer them in the right direction if they don't have an answer and by the way merry Christmas to you and I really mean it.
