If Adam’s actually upset about it, I would hope it comes from a lack of knowledge of the situation. Hearing “one of the dudes from the shitty reality TV show discovery made took the mythbusters trademark and started selling merch with sexualized fanart” sounds bad, until you get the context of “after buying it legally and in retaliation for discovery’s parent company *literally* stealing his work”

I think the only reason mythbusters worked was because adam was just the once in a generation perfect combination of host and maker. I'm guessing his VFX work had a pretty big run in that. Without him the show wouldn't have been what it is today. Of course we can't go anywhere without mentioning jamie, he's the perfect anti-character for the show.

I made a bee vacuum. If you called 911 about bees and hornets they gave you my ma's number. My stepfather was the 4 country bee inspector 10 years back and the new guy never gave his number or made arrangements so I was doing it if she called me. My first house cut-out was ridiculous with several queens and I was in a hail of bees, the first day. The secret to keeping them alive is a sliding collar over a ton of holes before the collector and a smooth hose, you can drop the suction to zero if you want, it's simple to keep it gentle enough to not hurt most of them. 10% was acceptable if I separated the queen. It still had to be strong enough to catch them, that's the trade-off. The sleeve collar thing was a mil flare container with a screen to keep strays out. I'm telling you what works because I've mulched them too and it was sad and shouldn't be repeated. A pew-pew isn't really gonna work. Bees are a bad choice b/c all but the queen have a barbed stinger that ends them when they use it. Bald face hornets are better. Just add a tube to their entrance and vibrate them. If you wear red, you will get the effect you're looking for if you stand near wearing cologne and moving around, you'll be smoked by them quick. Almost portable. Moving any hornets should be done at night and obstructing debris put in front of the entrance the first few days to make them take orientation flights or they'll try to go to where the hive used to be or just not know where to return to. Bees and wasps/hornets are complicated.

He has a healing factor that keeps him healthy, like Deadpool but not as strong, and while he doesn't get the radiation poisoning himself anyone that comes into contact with him long enough would. If MJ is receiving his bodily fluids regularly, which would also be radioactive in some way, for a long enough timeframe like 20 years, she would eventually get sick. It's still a long shot, but it makes more sense than just his balls being radioactive.

I love the the science nerds consistently get together and just devolve into dick and poop jokes. It's like a pressure valve for their main stream content being a bit more effort and intent.

It's upsetting to have grown up watching and loving Mythbusters, and now learning how pretentious and precious some of them are about it. It was a comedy science show! You're simply not built for the internet age if you get upset every time someone parodies or satirizes your extremely popular cultural phenomenon of a TV show.

The only think I know about David S Pumpkins is that Gus dressed like him on a Halloween episode of RT podcast. Didn't know what it was then and I still don't now.

Oh my that fiftyfifty subreddit was quite something. But I agree that it wasn't 50/50 because it felt like most posts were indeed more "dude still alive after half his face got shot off" instead of "cute bunny"
