it's because they have to accommodate for Connor, the most non weeb member of TT. Hence, why he can't explain the reason for long titles but Joey has already done this during his collab with Pewdiepie. It's simply because, there's too many LNs in the market, it's too slow to expect people to read the premise on the back of the LN and just much quicker to try to entice people just from the title. And fans will come up with a appropriate shorter title later, like "Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken" into just "TenSura"

It’s funny bc he blames it all on Kojima, when he specifically didn’t direct or write the game lmao. He made his internal devs postpone it for a couple years then gave it to Platinum. Kojima’s company just published the final game, and obvs had input on the MGS lore and whatnot.

Also, it's hilarious since Kojima has said he wants to make movies and has thought about it for years, but I think he's said that the restrictions that games have makes it a bit easier for him than making movies since he doesn't know what kind of movie he would like to make since he loves so many types of movies.

I don't read light novels but I am a fan of reading manga, so it is surprising that a lot of them do have manga adaptations for them. A big thing of why I started to like anime (slowly getting into it) is that since it’s all animated the “special effects” are always on par with the regular effects so it can get a lot weirder but still make sense/look like it’s done well. So if doctor who wants to crash a helicopter into a giant squid it’s going to look like shit, if an anime does it it’ll probably be the same quality of the rest of the animation.

I made an Anime in Minutes style video on my channel recently and I was interested just how differently the VA’s interpreted the lines I gave them when I thought it was just obvious in my head. It really taught me that writing a script and then having people perform it is really two very different things. Voice Acting is an impressive skill that I think most people over look.

This podcast has inspired me to actually commit to making some of the videos I have ideas for, so thanks for that. I usually never comment since it feels futile, but there's a chance you might actually see this, which is important to me since I guess I wouldn't have written this otherwise .-.

It's not only about the visual style of anime but also the kinds of stories. The stories often are more out there and creative. Anime doesn't take itself too serious but there are rly interesting concepts. Like Dr stone for example. If you know a Western cartoon like that

You can definitely get fish jerky if you live on the west coast, it's usually made by local seafood diners that have a small shop attached. I don't know if this style of business has a specific name but you can find them up and down the coastline, barring that then the next best option is just any smaller grocer that sources fish locally will also usually have a variety of seafood quick bites ranging from salmon candy to Poke bowls. Or just make your own, it isn't very hard.

34:00 yep. sucks, but I am baffled someone was dumb enough to leave any trace of their nsfw account's existence on their regular account. I go so far as to change my location, the things I like, how I write, what account I make it on, how my lines are weighted/art style. to my friends I am a mediocre paper artist and nothing more. (ok maybe one knows, and im a bit scared.)
