I think you are mistaken about buying. You CAN buy two cards from the face up market cards if you want. You DON'T have to buy the second ingredient from the deck.

Great review. Would you recommend this game over Jaipur for two players? I love the theme of this one, but Jaipur is made specifically for two

Thank you! Hmm, that's a tough question because they're both really good games. I think if you're wanting to play just 2 players, then Jaipur is the game to go with. But if you're playing with younger or inexperienced gamers, or if you're playing with more than 2 players, go with Mystic Market. I think Mystic Market might be a little easier to grasp even if Jaipur is a lighter game itself.

Imagine this game and swap it for stock market or cryptocurrencies theme. 🤔
