In City like Bangalore, I've seen auto driver's name, photo and vehicle number is laminated and pasted behind the seat of driver. Not sure its practice by all or not. However, if such thing is implemented in Nagaland then it'd give a sense of safe feeling even for travellers, just an opinion shared. To be honest , the line autos are really very uncomfortable, especially when road is bumpy we hit out head on the iron rods of the roof. Our head being a very sensitive part of our body, if it gets hurt accidentally, it might hit a vulnerable spot leading to many concussions... Example dizziness n blood clotting in such cases.

It happened to my dad also ,my dad s an old age and one day when he came home,ter was a little bleeding on top of his head,where luckily only the skin was brush ,and on asking him how this happened,my dad said while coming from 4rd mile he took an auto and cos of jerking from the speedy auto,his head was hit so coz of that he got injured,so auto wala should maintain limit speed especially in bumpy and rough road or else it will happen to many others also for careless driving, and some auto wala don"t even slow down even after repeated telling to slow down..And maybe it will be good f the expose rod r cover by cylindrical sponge so that even f one get hit , atleast it will b a great help from major injured,can save a life.

Where is her uncle? Who dropped her, interview him as well. Why is he hiding or is there something hidden behind him related to her incident. Ask her uncle how was her conditions when he was dropping her, what conversations they had through out their journey, and why did he not bother to left her alone there. Why her uncle is not being interviewed?? While this was also supposed to be leading to him that the incident had occurred.... And he was also one of the main person who was with her. Driver, local or non local? Who are these public? Such an irresponsible and third class public asking the driver to flee.

As far as i am concerned, its not the public duty to check the drivers id before boarding an auto. It should be the unions duty to check all the necessary documents before an auto driver is allowed to drive one, when they are collecting fees from the autos it should be them that makes sure they are driving with proper documentation.

The Union duty is to check everyday it's members enrolled under the Union not just collection taxes everyday , the Driver Union should provide and insists on detail records of the drivers names,driving licences no. vehichles no. and the parking no. details of the vehicles to be pasted and displayed in their vehicles for the convinced unlike other States. We public are so busy sometimes we compromise even to give twice the fare. It's the duty of the union to check their ID, uniform n licence. A meeting should be held by union and the people in power and discuss about those matter so that we public can be secure to travel anywere

Whatever the driver is guilty.... But on the other hand we the Public's always try to take law on the spot without handing them over to Law enforcement. So,on many occasions driver's have to run away from the spot to save himself.

Also check if the auto drivers have proper ILP n inform it to the police.

The witnesses said that there was no blood visible externally on her head. So, my speculation is that the driver and passengers thought that it was not a big issue but little did they know that it caused an internal injury. Also, if you're hit in the head so hard that it causes internal bleeding then obviously you'd feel dizzy and would not even be able to walk properly. Praying for her speedy recovery.
