Oh listen to this police officer with how clever he is with his words trying to cover up the wrongdoings of the assaulters. How on earth do they even know that the number plate of a vehicle is not legally registered? Have they memorised all the plate numbers? This is clearly not a misunderstanding but abuse of their authority. Those two police could have pushed him down and cuffed him even if he was resisting. The Nagas will not tolerate American police culture here in Nagaland! The cops does not have the right to assault any person unless in a self defence situations and the person should be properly informed as to why they are being stopped or arrested. Using law in their own hands while in their civil dress is absolutely prohibited unless they are in a classified undercover mission which in this case is not. 1-Why were the two guys not in uniform? 2- if they are undercover, why didn't they work like a professional but instead did like a Salman khan? I"ll also not stop if I was there. Is there a law that allows violence and assault to a person merely on suspicion??? Just because You are working in the police department does it give you the right to assault a college kid who btw had no weapons and was not intoxicated. What was the need to assault him? Had they just questioned him it wouldnt have had gone this far. Those men have ruined this kid's life. They must be FIRED not suspended. I as a civilian dont feel safe to be surrounded by such people when i should instead feel safe. Today it was moalong what if its me tomorrow or someone we know. If such men are in duty i wouldn't feel safe at all. Please take it to court,even supreme court. We have every right to take it to supreme court if our fundamental rights are being abused. Do not forgive and move on. I personally feel many times we come to an understanding and move on but the perpetrators must be punished by law.

Carry weapons and perform duty in civil dress and also use private vehicles to chase other vehicles. 3. Why didn't the police check the registration number online? 4.The police personnel who were involved in the incidents must suspend immediately and start inquiry for the same.
