Alex, Your grandpa used to drive log trucks in the forrest where we live here in the Oregon Cascade Mountains, East of Salem. Your mommy was a little girl . When you all get to America, I'm sure your grandpa will love telling you of his log truck driving experiences both winter and summer. Love, Grandma
Thanks for taking us along on your hike up the mountain. Beautiful scenery, especially with the snow-covering.
Retirement has afforded me the luxury of sitting inside or from the front/back porch to watch the snowfall and never have to venture out and drive any vehicle on roads like that much less a nice flat road! What beautiful photos and memories your sweet children will bring with them of growing up in those mountains and in Sweden.
Hey Simeon and Alex, absolutely love what you did with the format of your channel, although I know this is all temporary, this location is incredibly beautiful. Can't wait to see you when you're pursuing your American dream my friends!!! Much Love and Respect 🙏 God Bless you and yours brother. Jay 🕊 🕊 🕊
You are going to miss those beautiful mountains when you leave. Hope the kids have a safe spot for sleigh riding.
What an absolutely gorgeous place to live even if it's temporary. Hello Simeon and Alex Hope all is well.

Love my walk in the Alps with you.
LOL a deer peeing in the water! Simeon you're so funny Thank you Simeon and Alex for taken us on your hike in the Alps. Yike those truck drivers are Crazy! nope for me too.
Lovely walk in the Woods , so beautiful 😍. JO JO IN VT 💞💨❄️☃️
Totally understand your reluctance of driving machinery in the mountains. My scariest memory while being in the army was driving a bus full of GI's through the small towns on very narrow & hilly roads in Germany. Vowed never do that kind of driving again and thankfully succeeded in doing that. Enjoy your Alpine wonderland while you can before getting to flat Tennessee. 😉

I’m glad that was your scariest memory.

@@cynthiafisher9907 That is why I do not like to be called a war veteran even though I quality because I served during the Vietnam War. Others deserve that term and respect.
So Beautiful!, what a majesty!
Thanks for the video, Alex and Simeon. Tom 😎
Awesome y'all very breathtaking and beautiful views.
I loved the walk in the mountains, thanks!
So beautiful! Tennessee will be beautiful too, and totally different!
During avalanches trees go too them rails in ground prevent huge long pines from going down with avalanche- they are stoppers for trees helps to slow the progress of the avalanches down
beautiful country
Thanks for taking us along on your hike. I'm sitting here procrastinating shoveling snow.... after watching you working the cows / putting on chains, time to get out tackle that snow. God Bless
I'm with you Alex, I am licenced to drive such trucks. But being new to Northern Idaho, the thought of driving a logging truck on the roads around us would be a nightmare for me.
Thank you.
Most tire chains have 4 or more cam locks that can be loosened and then tightened after they are on the tire. I'm more familiar with semi truck tire chains, farm tractor tires might be different.
I seem to recall you liking equipment maintenance even less than using the equipment.
I think its to keep logs from running downhill when they are stacked up, waiting for transport.

That does make sense, but there is the added benefit that if the roadway was totally covered in snow, ice, and rocks from an avalanche that it could be found with a metal detector.
I did enjoy, indeed! That is some stunning scenery. Have you had any altitude problems with your health, or have you slowly acclimatised by being at the other farms?

Yup, look out for those deer peeing in your stream HAHAHAHA :)
Don’t you have Giardia in cold mountain water there? We do in Colorado. Years ago I hiked the Zugspitze and drank from a rushing steam. It was the best tasting water ever. I was worried about Giardia but took the risk with no ill effects.
First 🤣💪🏻
Give ur drummer kid a bongo drum
Thank you.
