Yes. You are right. Initially only Banglore stop between Chennai and Mysore. Only 5years ago they made Katpadi as temporary stop and later it was made permanent to load morning food and in return for loading dinner. No loco change.

Excellent vlog!!! Most prestigious train for Bangalore as well as Mysore. Going to travel by this shatabdi on 30th April. Have travelled by this train more than 6 times.

Bro one thing u need to remember is that:- 1)trains tippu sf exp and other superfast trains AC chair car fare is ₹315 even in this 12007/8 is also the same fare only.(With catering charge) 2)Even if u book tomorrow also no more dynamic price is applicable if a person travels b/w Bangalore-->Mysore-->Bangalore 3)But for Mysore Chennai or Bangalore Chennai dynamic fare is applicable...

Super Bro, it was enjoyable, nice and informative coverage...Yes earlier it was a non-stop run till Bangalore, but later with Arakkonam junction being upgraded to handle highspeed run facility plus electrification being done till Mysore saving a 10 minutes time in Bangalore for loco change has created sufficient time for stoppage in Katpadi!! In those days, even a non stop run to Katpadi would take 2 hours and whereas due to upgrading Arakkonam fit for highspeed run, the standard time to reach Katpadi is just 1.40 hours!! Thanks to southern railway for their clever idea to work on this using Corona lockdown period!!!

@@sandeeprahul2635 Actually before 2018, there was a loco change @ Bangalore for Shatabdi express in both directions. Only during mid 2018 the Bangalore Mysore route was electrified

Vellore is come under busiest city u should mention vellore when you're saying katpadi coz kpd is not a separate place it's just a area at vellore city. Vellore Katpadi Jn is the highest train stoppage railway station in the tamilnadu.

Erode & Salem is important railway station in Tamil Nadu. More over all trains crossing Erode junction will have an halt of minimum five minutes to maximum 60 minutes. Electric or diesel loco/engine change is done on erode only.

@@arvindr19 Yes for filling water they made it to 5 mins. After Salem to Karur route construction, Erode lost many trains. Here they mentioning like Katpadi has got many train stoppage.

My all time favourite is Mysore- Chennai Shatabdi, every month i travel to Chennai & it's a great exp in Shatabdi with 110 kmp on an average

Unexpecting video bro .. today i booked this train.. randomly i search in KZread.. but surprisingly you uploading this video today .. ❤️❤️

Before 2 years in north side a group of village peoples watching a temple festivel which is very near to their next village in night time especially standing in railway tracks which is passing near to that temple. Nearly more than 200+ peoples watching that festivel by standing in railway tracks. Unfortunately an express train came in that track. Even though both the pilots honked continuously to get rid of this crowds. But due to over sound from festivel no body hear the horn of the train engine. Within a minutes every thing went worst. Train hits and crashes so many village person those who have been sit and stand in that railway tracks. Nearly 50+ persons died in spot also some body died in hospital and also on the way to hospital. So don't sit or stand in railway track when your train is in unscheduled halt.
