Love Myrtle Beach. Best thing, two days and you ready to go home. must limit paradise or you lose it.

I'm an old guy my band played the pavilion back in 64/65/66. The beach had only small motels back then, I believe there was only 1 high rise called the " Landmark"

I felt sorry for those starving fish at 8:00 . I would have bought a box of cheap corn flakes and fed them to the fish .

Wish had known you guys were here. Would had taken you to some dives. lol

Myrtle beach has some really rude jellyfish who like to sting! The Peaches comment was hilarious. 😂. I would never pay $1200 a night for something not on the ocean.

Wow, what a deal, $100/night for a $1200 room, I know alot of people like to golf in the Myrtle Beach area during the off season!

The motel rates are super cheap in the winter and weather isn"t that bad usually sunny in the 50's,low 60's, not Florida but still nice especially for those up north and you don't have to deal with the crowds and many of the hotels have indoor pools and yes Myrtle Beach is far cheaper to live or visit than San Diego which is awesome also!

I stayed at the South Bay Inn. I liked the hotel so much I would've gone there in a snowstorm.

Yeah, after going to Myrtle Beach for Fourth of July weekend, I went again in October. I got to stay in an oceanside hotel for just $70.00 a night. And even in October, the temperature was still comfortably warm.

30 Years ago that Beach was great. They got rid of the main amusement park about 20 years ago. I live in SC and I still know alot that head to that beach each year. Glad you liked it.

It’s definitely a tourist trap, but it’s got a lot of shtick as well, which I liked.

I liked the beach better as miles of untouched pristine beach and no tall buildings to block the obvious beautiful view. Each to his own, but if I'm going to the beach, I want the beach...

Saw you went to Myrtle Beach, SC have you ever watched the movie SHAG that was filmed in and around the area? It’s one of my favorites from the 80’s. I too spent my senior week at MB in 1985 lol I have always lived in SC in the Greenville area and also Charleston area and I love it.

I hear Myrtle Beach is dangerous. Pigeon Forge, TN has one of those upside down houses. I bet there is one in every tourist trap

Used to live in Myrtle Beach, SC is my 2nd favorite state other than Maine

There's an upside down building like that in PCB too.

Nah...don't think so since they are fiction. Glad yall stayed in a very nice hotel. I love Myrtle Beach. I a great place to visit and especially with children.

Why would they build those tall tall buildings in a line right on the beach. Just waiting for a hurricane to blow them all down.

I'm curious is their any place you've stayed that got a 5 star rating from you? Not even a 4.9
