Post-traumatjc Reactive change to the muscle is the aetiology of this lesion. This can be seen as Metaplasia of Bone or Neoplasia Of Benign Morphology. Ectopic Bone Synthesis however seems no different than Endometriosis and even so as Metastatic Teratoma, a very rare possibility. Cheerz, es geht gut hier!

Can it be associated with adjacent bone fracture?

Fracture callus and other bone reparative processes can look very similar to this.
