This is real. I went in for therapy and did not know what to expect I thought I was going to just get a massage, but the 1st time I wanted to laugh and restrained myself from doing so becasue I thought she woudl think I was nuts. The 2nd time I cried and then laughed out loud. She then told me that it can bring out tears crying or laughter. It was the most awesome experience I have ever had. I did about 10 sessions. Every time I have felt better than ever after I left.
John Barnes is a SAINT. This technique was used on my by a friend of a friend and CHANGED MY LIFE COMPLETELY. I plan on studying this for the rest of my life and want to spread the pain relieving miracle as far and wide as possible. Thank you for this video Richard.

Richard, Thanks for sharing this video. It is always refreshing to hear John speak, and I always pull something new from his words, even if I've heard them before. MFR has transformed my practice and is very powerful and effective approach to healing.
John, Thank you for teaching such amazing work. Myofascial Release has transformed my practice and defined my style as a physical therapist. Thank you, Aaron LeBauer
@LegPains Rolfing is one of the older forms of myofascial release. The main difference is that John Barnes Myofascial release does not force the tissue but only moves to the non elastic barrier. The other difference is that John Barnes myofascial release maintains a long hold (at least 2 - 5 minutes) and this makes the change in the tissue last longer. I had a positive experience with Rolfing, but I think myofascial release is more effective.
wow, this is one intellectually smart man! looking forward to taking one of his seminars!
