You could always give them a loan. So, he can have 500k. He can do whatever he wants with that, but he'll have to be looking for a job so the money won't run out as fast. This will teach him money management. 500k is nothing. Especially since he's young. So, if he's not smart, the money will run out and when it does, he'll have to step in and be the adult because he won't be living lavishly as often. He'll understand the importance of each dollar, each payment, everything.

nino don It shouldn't be an issue of race, it's about teaching responsibility. We love our kids deeply but at the same time, moral and handling finances must be taught and praticed by young adults. One way of expressing our love to our children is teaching them how to be an adult, by paying their own rent from a their own job.
