Myles Anderson | Myles Per Hour (Full Comedy Special)
Комедия
Myles Anderson's new comedy special is a unique exploration of living in the middle of the forest on Vancouver Island. Anderson delves into absurd situations like inheriting guns, preparing for break-ins with Bond-villain monologues, having a resting rich face, and living with elderly relatives. Through self-deprecating charm, Myles offers a comedic glimpse into the joys and pitfalls of island life and off-island life. #mylesanderson #standup #comedy

Thank you to all the people that worked on this production with a special thanks to Hecklers Comedy club and my friends and family who politely laugh at a solid majority of my jokes.

Could someone explain to me how jokes work? I can't find any tutorials on this site.
I’ll explain how he does it, he had bits, set them up, hit the punch line, and some callbacks, truly, one of the best doing it today, a master. 😂. Loved the 007!
I’ve never heard about this guy, but having watched 2 minutes of this special, it’s pretty clear that he’s one of the best comedians out there working today.
I think i understood all of the jokes. Thank you for your service Myles, you do it for free and it's ironically invaluable.
This doesnt start amazing but after each minute it gets better and better, im almost finished and it has become one of my favorite specials
“A dollar a dollar a dollar” is the most hilarious replacement for “bang”
One of the comedians around today
That "oh.. the 3rd crusade" took me out 🤣 I love this guy ❤

I’m so looking forward to laughing tonight! Bring it on, Myles!
Great stuff. How’d you manage to do all those jokes without being cancelled? Seriously though I was laughing throughout and you’ve proved you’re not just a joke explainer. You’re a joke doer as well. 👏 🎉❤
I live in a cornfield in Illinois, USA, and feel that there weren't enough Vancouver Island-specific jokes. Those jokes were extremely relatable. I'm looking forward to his next special which will be all Cruikshank Canyon Lookout jokes.
Myles is very funny, no explanation necessary

Very sharp. Shocking to see wit returning to comedy in the 2020s. Here is a man living up to the hype. 🏆
This was great!
Not surprisingly this guy is good, a scholar of the art
This is great!
This guy is exceptionally smart.
Excellent writing and performance!🤣 I’m quite glad to have found your special, and will keep an eye out for you in the future.
Love this special dude. Keep up the great work 💪
In all honesty that’s one of the best comedy sets I’ve ever seen, much funnier than all the hacks working today who just whine that they can’t tell jokes anymore. I like his channel but this vastly exceeded my expectations. No need to explain these jokes.

Brilliant!
Very funny show. I would have added at the end of the Romania, one dollar a night hotel. I would have said. Do you take bullets, lol

For those perplexed, it says it is premiering in 93 minutes. Thats an hour and 33 minutes for the normal population. You have to understand, Myles uses high brow humor so you really have to think about what is presented. It may cause headaches and possible trauma but the comedy once you understand it, it’s so worth it. Although you will still be a normal person your brain we be of a higher class. And that’s funny. So in conclusion, 1 hour 33 mins from now is when you should be tuning in. And it’s no problem, what can I say….its a gift. I’m just doing what I was born to do.

Very funny!’ I’d like to give this guy a couple of dollars!!

Back in 2001, I was attending a tech school in phoenix, Arizona, when I unexpectedly needed to run back home (Vancouver Island). I asked my American neighbors if they wanted to do a road trip to Canada, and without a moment's hesitation, they said yes. Two days and one earthquake later, we had just finished taking the ferry over from the mainland, when my neighbor looked at me and made the oddest comment... He said, "I thought you said you lived on an island!" "Ummm... Yes. And here we are." I confirmed. Questioning the sincerity of his comment, I continued, "Did you somehow manage to miss that FERRY we just floated over on, my friend? We ARE on Vancouver ISLAND. It is a chunk of ground that is surrounded by water... That qualifies as being an island!! Are you HIGH?!?" His reply back, "It's not like, a REAL island. Not like Gilligan's island, or Hawaii or such..." I had never laughed soo hard in my life, as I did that day, nor had I ever felt so privileged to call this place home, as I did when I got to see my friends' experience a few days of Island life. They don't call our Province Beautiful British Columbia for no reason, after all!
This dude killed it!
That guy in the hat did NOT want to have a good time.
"...if you don't practice this week, I'm gonna vaccinate you" gold 😅
2020 was the best year for geysers
This special was absolutely killer. Only thing I'd say is the first ~10m being about something super specific to Vancouver might turn listeners off. Keep up the great work!
Fantastic comedy, Myles. Thank you for this. Had great laughs.
I wonder what type of comedian he is. I really like funny voice comedians, strange sounds comedians, audience pollers, word repeaters, name comedy, reference comedy (sorry Myles but you will never be able to reference as many things as Dennis miller), California comedy, i hate my wife comedy, men are so horny they’re like X animal comedy, wacky/so random (howie mandel-esque) comedy, and the ‘soloing out the black guy in the crowd’ comedy of Steven crowder. Those are most of my favorite types of comedy. I’m probably leaving some out forgive me.

Ummmm, what? Professional joke explainers?! Where do I sign up for that career? In fact my friends owe me years of back pay…I think it would be tough but rewarding dealing with people on the daily who have specials needs, but we all have to give back every now and then don’t we? Shall I start by explaining the above? 😜

Although Myles did mention FDR, a famous comedian about 100 years ago (with Rosanne).
NoooOooOoooo 😅😅
Oh man, I hope you can understand these jokes like I can
I think this stand up is good but i'm confused by the Set Up and Punchline strategy he utilizes and then throws in jokes that call back to previous jokes.. very strange. He should check out Chris Delia. Now that guy knows how to talk and walk funny.
There was a joke?
It's no gringo papi.
comment 96 review of first half of set: the more mature women seemed to take to the comedian in droves, his humor and knowledge of the region was not heavy but the audience was as they soon turned on this comedian for a joke or a smell I'm not sure because I wasn't there. Myles is a grandma aged male trapped in a 30 year old body that looks even younger and dresses according to the stereotypes of boating people with money. There was nothing wrong with the set there was nothing right the entire thing focused for the most part on wealth people do or do not have and the idea of being a human being of a certain age that knows people of a different age and perspective.
Myles, I want to support you, but two ad breaks with two ads each only five minutes in is ridiculous. I'm not going to watch a 45m set that's interrupt every couple of minutes
