Olden days Sivaji and nagesh after hard work come and consume lots of pongal sambar vadai chutney. There used a hall nearby they used to lay down ans take rest with friends

NAGESH, K.R.VIJAYA, BALACHANDAR, ARE REGULAR VISITOR WHEN IN KUTCHERY ROAD. THEY WILL BE CASUAL AND I HAVE SAT NEAR NAGESH SIR SO MANY TIMES. STILL I REMEMBER THE BIG AATTUU KAL AT THE ENTRANCE AND THE ROUND CEMENT PLATFORM BELOW THE TREE. JUST THREE RUPEES ENOUGH TO FILL YOUR STOMACH. THIS I AM TELLING DURING 1970-75 PERIOD.

Now I can visit rayar mess. Now I am in my native place Trichy bcoz work from home. After return to chennai my first visit is rayar mess. Also a request you may come to Trichy city special for its traditional hotels around the Srirangam,thiruvanaikovil and rockfort temple.

I am in pune now school days P. S. High school mylai Royars owner son my Cassmate house in Arundale St hotel ln Kutchery road for a coffee Customer will come in car Upto 1957 was there then My life changed still I am enjoying the Vadai, Coffee Flavour in my memory Thank you madam (2021)

GATTI CHATNI OR KATTI SATNI : Coconut, Chana Dal, Salt & Green chilli Grinded in quite solid state, If water added more is called Chatni or Satni.

Literally it means solid Chutney or chutney which is not in liquid state. Chutney to which no water is added .

After seeing your video. I went to rayer mess. It's ok good but sambar is not upto the expectation

The items are in great taste but the cost is too high. You can have once in a while when you come to or bypass this area and not regularly which will burn out your purse.

சாப்பிட கூடிய இடம் மனதுக்கு இனிமையாக இதமாக சந்தோசமாக இருக்கனும். படு மட்டமான இடம். இந்த கடை டிபன் கடைமாதிரி இல்லை.. பொரிகடலை சட்னி கடை தான். பொரிகடலை சட்னி யால நம்மல குளிப்பிட்டு விடுவாங்க. டேஸ்டு இல்லாத டிபன்கள். இதுல பணம் வேற அதிகம்..

Really great. I think Tamil Nadu is the best place to eat Vegetarian and non vegetarian food in India.

Taste சூப்பரா இருக்கும், வயிறு நிறைய சாப்பிட்ட பின்னாடி அரை மணி நேரம் கழிச்சி இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் சாப்பிட்டிருக்கலாமோனு தோணுற அளவுக்கு லைட்டா இருக்கும்.... துளி கூட எண்ணெய் கலப்படம் இல்ல....சுத்தமும் சுகாதாரமும் பெரிய ஹோட்டல் ரேஞ்ல இருக்கும்.... அதுக்குலாம் மேல நாம சொல்றது தான் கணக்கு....கல்லால உக்காந்திருக்குறவர் நீங்க என்னலாம் சாப்டீங்கனு நம்ம கிட்ட கேட்டு தான், நாம சொல்ற கணக்க வச்சி தான் வாங்குவார்... என்ன ஒன்னு எப்ப போனாலும் Wait பண்ணி தான் சாப்பிட வேண்டி இருக்கும்...

இட்லி - 2 ரூ.35-. வடை ரூ ஒரு 14-. பொங்கல் - ரூ. 50- . இதைவிட குறைந்த விலையில் தரமான சாப்பிட எந்த ஓட்டலில் உள்ளது ? தரமாக வியாபாரம் செய்பவர்களை சாணி வாரி அடிக்க கூடாது. உம்முடைய தரம் என்ன என்பது தெரிந்தது தானே.
