"Sans Logique "is a master piece video clip of Mylène!

Mylene was the first European artist, after Thriller by MJ who produced Short films since 1985 for the most of her Music Videos, it was a real revolution in France, for almost each singles, she appeared as a new personality as David Bowie already made.... Laurent Boutonnat who composed almost 2/3 of her hits also was the director for all of her Music Videos ( which contributes to her success since 80's and early 90's). He is an incredible musician and film director, and Mylène was attracted by cinema from the beginning, then she wrote a lot, and they made together the most magical artistic duo since almost 40 years.... Their art helped a lot of sensitive young people as me, with a Gothic Romantic point of view through poetry and a lot of literature influences.... She's now 60 yo, but there's no "old Mylène" as you said.... She's timeless She was member of Cannes FilmFestival Jury last year with Spike Lee....She's also THE French gay icon in France, thanks to her lyrics, her style, her sensitivity, her respect to her audience.. I'll finish soon, but Nevermore 2023 Stadium Tour is already sold out since 2 years before the first show, and the new LP didn't still came out. So, as others already said, look at the masterpieces Mylène & Laurent made when no-one made MV as short film, with high budget & scenaristic or cinematic ambition => California by Abel Ferrara in 96, Désenchantée, Sans Logique, Libertine, Pourvu qu'elles soient douce ( 18minutes!) all by the same Laurent Boutonnat, Je te Rends ton Amour by François Hands ( very controversial and half censored in France // blood, nudity, religion & devil in a church with a blind Mylène abused and naked after confessions in a marvelous Olivier Theyskeins Haute Couture dress) => one week later, Mylene was furious and decided to sell the video clip in VHS in all Libraries of this censored beautiful MV whose all benefits went given to the fight against AIDS in 1999)

In the short version, it was finished where the dead Mylène saved her sister. And two years before the release of this mv, Mylène Lost his brother in an accident. So the long version is Even more sad...

Omg this particular video has a lot of chinese mythology background. Even if it has a complex storytelling, it's not the best of Mylene's videography. Fans will tell you which are the best to see next.

"Libertine" is an 11 minutes video which tells a story that includes full frontal nudity of Mylène as well as lots of violence, including an epic catfight between Mylène and another woman with no holds barred and the assassination of Mylène alias Libertine and her lover. "Pourvu Qu'elles Soient Douces" is the sequel to it and 17 minutes long (so together these two videos form a short movie). Libertine has survived the assassination but is badly wounded; she is found by members of the British army who apparently have lost their way and erroneously landed in France, a fact that the general of the army comments with "Good gracious" while drinking his tea (a really funny scene in the video). The sequel is even more epic, with literally hundreds of soldiers of the French, the English and the Prussian army in war and another catfight between the same two women. Again lots of full nudity and violence. Both videos are must-sees for fans of Mylène Farmer.

The music video for Am Stram Gram was filmed in China by a Chinese filmmaker. Personally it's not my favorite because it's a bit too "Bollywood-Chinese". Ok it was in 1999 but the special effects are a bit ridiculous and not believable...^^ Most of Mylène Farmer's "European" music videos are so much better than this.....among the best in the world every decade since the 80s...and there are plenty of them...
