Every time the media discusses one of the individual American medals, they preface it with the fact that Simone stepped down, insinuating she gifted it to them somehow. They need to stop with that crap and just let these athletes shine.

They both have been very vocal about what hapoened, and simone told her to stay in Tokyo. They're very upfront about it and Myk has said it was for the both of them.

Because Simone is the professional victim so they need to feed her ego to the very end. They would never do this for other athletes. She chose to quit and they’re doing everything in their power to spin the narrative and somehow justify what she did.

@@thatperformer3879 u really know nothing about Pressure to be perfect every second of your life do you? That's what happened to her. And she cheered on her teammates all the way through when she mentally could not handle it and could've ended up with a physical Injury. Trust me doing this sport whole having what's called a mental block is dangerous even

To me, she’s the prettiest USA gymnast! But I’ve always been shy to say that for fear of being bashed… But she really is so pretty!🤩

I am so happy for her. Lot of hard work and she stepped up and earned her medal.

I've been a Michaela Skinner fan for many years and I'm so happy for her I'm so proud of her she's amazing and when she got that silver metal she probably heard me from West Virginia

Best think that happened at the Olympics was Biles bowing out after mental issues. We got to experience great stories. With Skinner and the 2 young woman who won gold. All real patriots and all had great stories too.

@@leonaltmark2852 McKayla Maroney is awesome in so many ways, you should check her out. She was the one who famously made a face when she received Silver on the vault. The next year, she won the World Championship on vault, edging out Simone Biles on that apparatus. She also helped the US Team win Gold (I think it was Gold). Mykala Skinner is a [Utah] gymnast who was a reserve in a past Olympics, where she never got to compete. This year, she failed to qualify, and her Olympic dream was going to end in double-disappointment. When Simone withdrew from Vault, Mykala was the fill-in, and she won a Silver medal. Don't ask me how we ended up with a McKayla and a Mykala silvering on vault behind very interesting stories only a few Olympics apart.
