My first Yong heng is still going strong, bought it in early 2019, all i fill is guns no bottles yet, still hits 300 bar in just a few minutes, i also have a brand new one sitting in reserve that is setup and ready, i used it for a month or two just to make sure nothing was wrong before warranty went past, great little machines!

@@aaroncantrell8819 hey sorry Aaron, i didnt know you had replied back, thanks, love your videos, just fyi, ive bought another yong heng, and although not printed on the side it does look identical to the 1st i bought and say YH in the model number, got it at walmart on line for 174.00 and 22 bucks for a 3 year warranty, so now i have mothballed my 1st one, the backup one, which only had a year warranty and will use this one for the next 3 years, I would advise anyone who uses these great little pumps to buy them now, because if relations with China continue to deteriorate, soon you want be able to touch them for under 1k bucks if at all, Thanks and Godspeed my brother!

My Yong Heng is STILL running like a champ. I never over run it, I run it for 10-15 mins at most. I change the oil every two or three uses because it's easy to do and cheap. A gallon of AW-46 is $15 bucks. I really like your car analogy of taking it out to it's max everyday and see how long it lasts.

British viewer here. We're limited to 12ft/pounds muzzle energy unless the gun is on FAC (firearm certificate) so most PSP air rifles fill to between 2,800 and 3,300 psi, and will not overtax a compressor like this if you're just using it to fill the reservoir. Anyway, I bought one because that's all I use it for. It didn't cost a whole lot more than a good quality hand pump and around the same as a useful sized dive bottle, but means I don't have to drive to a scuba shop, which would be a PITA because there isn't one local to me. I figured that if I take care of it, it's probably cheaper in the long run than a scuba tank and saves me pumping the gun by hand. If it *does* break spares are cheap and plentiful and (having a technical background) I can probably fix it. Sure, it's a cheap Chinese compressor so I don't expect it to last forever, but if I get 5 years worth of fills from it, it will have saved me some money and a lot of effort. Love your common sense approach to airgun shooting. Keep up the good work ! 😄

Sorry to hear your compressor died . I did loo at this compressor when they first came out But decided to go with the more mobile won that you can charge from your car and at home. trying to get bottles filled to 4500 psi in the UK is very hard to get as not many rifles here run at that pressure . i do have one rifle that runs at 4500 psi and i only have to top it up and not fill it from empty. I must say i am still with you on the P15 as my .177 Cal shoots very very well i just made a sound mod for t and it is super quite and i still love it and touch wood i have not had any problems at all. So i also say you dont have to spend the earth to shoot and shoot well with rifles that dont cost a lot and if you do your research 👍👍👍

If I did not have a carbon fiber tank fir filling in the field I would have made the same decision to get a mobile one as well. I would guess that filling a gun to 4,500 psi in he UK would last for months of shooting. As for reliability, I would rank the P15 in the top 5. Thanks for watching.

@@aaroncantrell8819 I went with the compressor as my RTI 30 Cal runs at 4500psi so it was the best way to go and get the best out of the rifle Plus the filling of all my other rifle which have a lot has made it money back by now with no tank test and refills. Think it was my best buy Thinking of getting the P15 in .22 Cal as i have it in .177 Cal already 👍👍👍

I got super lucky recently. A gun was selling a bottle for 300 for a 6.8l. if any of my chief brother--and are out there looking for their first bottle I think he's trying to buy some loyalty and when I say 300 I mean 300 I didn't even get charge tax for some reason. After that spending the same on a compressor setup just is a no-brainer. Minnesota's pretty barren from what I can find.

These are great machines for the price. But being built to this price, they are constantly attempting thermal self destructtion. ;) Without cooling the air would get ~700°C in the high pressure side. This is why the O-Rings burn up there! Of course there is the water jacket, but it only can do so much.

Every last airgun and every last compressor is going to fail at some point. If a person isn't willing to accept that, they should probably avoid airgunning. Those YH compressors are very good and an exceptional value. AND have parts available for repair / replacement. I won't buy any gun or compressor I can't readily get parts for. Too many folks are sissified these days and act like they can't work on anything. It's not rocket science.

In the Umarex Origin and A/V Avenger groups people lose their minds at the smallest problems. Sending back for warranty returns. My Origin had a 3 year warranty and Avenger is one year I believe, but I usually tell people to start learning their gun and how that particular system works as soon as possible. What are these folks going to do when the warranty runs out? Probably throw the air rifle away and buy another.

I use the cheapest cooling fluid i could find, just to prevent corrosion. Added a quality check valve at the pressure side, and run it using a programmable timer via a relay circuit. At 250bar instead of the rated 300bar. p.s: after filling, i let the cylinder rest upside down for a wile, and blow the possible oil/water residue out, before filling my rifle. All dry so far, but better safe than sorrow.
