Maybe do a vid on the most durable bikes or best bikes to ride in the harsh weather? Could get more traction as its almost Christmas?

The “kink “ on the stock R7 exhaust is the catalytic converter, Yamaha moved it closer to the engine so the catalytic converter can heat up faster and start working sooner.

As bad as Illinois is I love the fact there’s zero inspections for bikes and cars it’s as simple as does it run and does it have a check engine light on currently

I have this exact setup on my MT-07 engine cover and all. the exhaust is amazing and with a tune is so fun to ride.

Sounds nice but damn that would be annoying to ride on the highway lol. The super loud 7k rpm drone would do my head in. Perfect for the track.

why would you be at 7k on the highway lol, you could just shift to 5th or 6th and be at low rpm

Went from Sounding like a scooter to real motorcycle haha the 07 has a beautiful tone

Nice mods done, I really like it. I would definitely need to put a baffel in it. Even with earplugs it would eventually get to me on long runs. A tail tidy would make it look a lot better.

I was barrelling for a R3 when I passed my A2 After living on my GSXR125, But then this R7 came out and I’m in love, I really want one of these but there so dam expensive, Good luck to all in the give-away!

My old roommate had an FZ07 with an Akrapovic exhaust with no baffle and holy god that thing was loud. I would love to have an R7 like that lol

I have a 2017 fz-07, ecu flashed, 1 tooth down in the front, 3 teeth up in the rear, and a baffle-out full Akropovic carbon exhaust installed... super fun, weaving wheelie machine... it can be ridden with moderate sound , if kept under 6000ish rpms. 1st gear is useless and my fz-07 still doesn't compare to the 2021 mt-09 I picked up in October.

Not gonna lie as a 600cc sport bike rider this seems really really fun on the street. I love the mt07 but handling was always meh for me. I'd love to test ride one esp with an exaust like this

The first rocket I rode was the R1 and I didn't find that bike very comfortable. I ended up pulling the trigger on a 93 CBR 600 F2 and I love it. I am super interested in the R7 though! Seems like a good middle ground between a 600 and 1000. I appreciate your super informative reviews!

Graves racing exhaust and a tune on my ZX6R made it a ballistic missle. I mean it was already fast but holy shit 😳 the difference is night and day.

Bringing mine to the shop this weekend for the same thing. I just have the graves slip on. Looking forward to seeing the difference after it is tuned.

My 2018 mt07 has the akrapovic system and sounds slighty.. just a bit lower. I love it. On throttle they sound the same haha

Balance point my dude, ya ride a motorcycle with a CP2 balance point is a MUST at least for a couple seconds. Also I have an SC on my mt07 and can confirm. SO LOUD, especially on wheelies and coming out of corners with your knee on the ground

FWIW: I put a full Akra from a 2015 FZ 07 and it bolted right on with no mods to the mounting. >>>>Just got my ECU back from V Cycle Nut . Feels like it has more low end punch and will try this weekend. No backfire with flash that i got, since it disabled the PAIR Valve function. >>>Also have a full system on my Aprilia RS 660 with Up Map flash. would be s good side by side comparison.

I can relate to the Miata comment. The exhaust I put on it did nothing except make it sound better. I feel like the same thing will happen with my MT03. Sound better, but still slow AF.

I watch your Channel religiously Yammi ! Idk what to get still. I had a moped . 49 cc it was trash . Down hill I did 40 lol. HOWEVER , I'm stuck between cbr650r cb650r or R7 . So hard to choose. I watch your videos over and over trying to figure it out. But 10 or 11+ grand for a first bike is so much. Since I'll probably make a mistake or 2 .

I would not be able to do that. I haven’t owned a straight piped exhaust in 5 years. Last time I rode one was my boy’s gixxer 600 a month ago and I couldn’t get over how obnoxious it was and I was at low rpm the whole time. I was grinding my teeth with every rpm the needle passed till I short shifted for my own mental health. I want to do a Yoshi on my MT-09 but I’m hoping it doesn’t get much louder than stock. I actually love the stock sound of the 21’s. If I heard it without seeing I’d think it has a slip on.

It's not that bad once you get a tune, the quarter throttle on decel without a tune does like 1000 pops and it's obnoxious but if tune it and shift early it doesn't get that loud, the idle is loud but once you start moving at like 5mph or when the bike is heated up properly it's not really loud

I love the sound of it this reminds me that I want a motorcycle so bad but I got a mother you know how that goes and Im broke🥲

I have ridden with a guy that had a sc exhaust on his fz07. It was to loud. To the point where I was getting annoyed, and I was wearing ear plugs. I have a yoshi on my mt07, and it is the best exhaust that you can get for a mt07 in my pinion.

my MT09 has a Termi with a Tune + Baffel and its still way to loud for me. I Enjoy going full throttle a lot more with earplugs. I dont wanna know what the R7 is like with a SC and no Baffel. Really great mods though, Gb Racing Covers are just the best.

To my ears the less the amount of cylinders, the worse they sound with loud exhaust. V-twins might be the exception.

The MT07/R7 is a parallel twin with a 270 degree crankshaft so it sounds just like a V-Twin in real life.

I think its funny how you guys talk about loud bikes, coming from someone who rides a Harley. As many of the aftermarket pipes are stupid loud. It's just normal to me haha. Still sounds great though.

Im not sure if theyre using a cardo or a sena, but they use a device that attaches to your helmet and puts speakers and a mic in it, thats why you hear the go pro audio too
