All of Sabaton's songs are either about heroes-Simo Hayha, Sir Adrian Carton de Wiert, Milunka Savic, etc., or about battles that happened. It's pure history, so far I've tried to cast doubt on all of them, but none of them have succeeded. Biographies, historical events, documents confirm them, of course, a 3-minute song is often not enough for the details, creative freedom and creativity help.

The sabaton songs aren't meant to tell all the facts that's why they made the history channel the songs are designed to make you interested and check out the history yourself

I love sabaton they have a history channel where they go in depth about the history and a little about the song itself and my favourite album is carolus rex album

It is from Brazilian history an the amazing Dan Vasc does a very interesting cover of it.

The wife seems to like Sabaton, you should see when they sing in Swedish in Gothenburg in an ice hockey arena.
