This film is also the final time we get to see Batfleck, as production for Joss Whedon's Justice League drove him to drink heavily, as he said in interviews that "he didn't have a fun experience, it was very depressing", and that his alcoholism, his stints in rehab, and his divorce from Jennifer Garner took it's toll.

Everyone watched this movie for Batman and all the other cameos. As cool as those were, I honestly found the storyline between Barry and his mother to be the far more interesting part of the film

The director claimed the CGI was that bad as a stylistic choice. One of the VFX artists said something along the lines of “If it looks like it was done in a week, it was.” Other VFX artists confirmed they were asked to do scenes from scratch a couple weeks before release. Another example and possibly the worst example of underpaid and overworked VFX artists who must’ve been working 20 hours a day for a couple weeks straight to get something release ready.

Personally I don't think the movie is as bad as people say it is but I can't lie that all the bad promo around it with Ezra Miller's criminal activities, the movie itself being in production hell for a while, the whole DCU reboot, the bad CGI and the potential the movie could have had overall definitely gives the movie a bad image

Love how Holden does like the Leonardo Decaprio meme where he points when Michael Keaton said the “you wanna get nuts, let’s get nuts” line.😂

Supergirl was Helen Slater. Helen later played Supergirl's stepmother in the CW TV series. Her stepfather was Dean Cain

In Clooney's defense, he wasn't a bad Batman. He was in a bad Batman movie

I actually thought this movie was pretty alright definitely over hated although the animated flashpoint film is a masterpiece honestly

Think about it in terms of a videogame Barry was essentially savescumming in the final battle. Just far enough to go back where he needs to but not back far enough to actually change anything else

I actually really enjoyed this one. Sure some of the CGI isn’t the best, but the only time it really took me out of the movie was with the CGI babies in the beginning. I thought this was pretty good and despite Ezra Miller’s schemes, he still played a pretty damn good Barry Allen. Some of the ending cameos I didn’t think were needed, but it was cool to see some classic characters again.

Fun fact: the reason ezra runs like he’s ice skating is because if he were running normally he’d destroy everything in his path, in one on of the scenes where u see him save that women, before, he barely slid on the ground and it destroyed the ground, he has to run like that, also the lightning passing through him he’s gotta let it flow a certain way somehow 😂

In the original cut, Michael Keaton was supposed to show up again in the end but after Barry went back to his apartment, Ben Affleck was trying to reach out to Barry through a transmission and asking him "What did you do?!"

Apparently you can see Doomsday on one of the rings on the green planet from Nic Cages Superman. Also there were plans to have more cameos like Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman and Grant's Flash, but for some reason they cut it. When it comes to the inevitable intersection, the CW TV show Legends of Tomorrow explain it a lot better, I believe during it's final season. Season 7 episode 10.

"They couldn't put a real baby in the microwave" might be my new favourite out of context quote.

Glad that they Picked This Too Shall Pass as the Song at the End. It Symbolizes the meaning of Letting Go of the Past and that a New Era of DC is coming.

I’m going to assume the reason they didn’t create a whole new strand of spaghetti when they stopped Bruce and Kara dying is because they only went back a few minutes, compared to Barry going back a decade to save his mom.

from what i understand there were 3 different post credit scenes one with supergirl and keatons batman, superman and afflecks batman, and then the one with clooney. i think the one with clooney was shot after the ezra drama as a joke to have him in the batnips universe

If you guys wanna see what a good Batman movie with Ben Affleck would’ve been like, react to The Accountant. It’s a great thriller. Also Affleck’s portrayal as a character with autism is pretty good.

That was Helen Slater who played the 1980s supergirl. She also played Supergirls adapted mother in the tv show
