Sorry Dave. If it makes you feel better, I’ve been in a similar situation the last three months tightening my belt like crazy. I am working 1.5 x the hours I was two years ago and my checking account looks worse. I don’t even want to talk about my investment “nest egg”- makes me want to weep.
