The funny thing for me is that as crazy as the mom was, she somehow actually picked good guys like the father and the stepfather, even the last boyfriend sounded like a troubled but okay guy.

I have been to many dry weddings. They were fun. It is more about the people than the booze. Alcohol is not needed at the wedding.

I had a dry wedding. It was a blast! There were people we wanted there who were recovering alcoholics and we almost never drink. We all had a lot of fun.

It's the same thing I always say: if you cannot have fun without alcohol/drugs, YOU👏🏽ARE👏🏽BORING👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I'm strictly anti-alcohol and anyi-drug for myself, it is not allowed in my home or any event I may be planning. If you think my party sucks because people aren't inebriated, then you're probably just a boring person.

Should just tell the mom they've got a few muslim friends for the wedding lol. My friend had a dry wedding as quite a few of our friends were muslims and there were a couple jewish guests on the in-laws side so they forgo alcohol and even got halal/kosher catering.

I mean this sounds even sillier changing up your wedding for the sake of the personal beliefs of a few attendants. It's courteous, but they can always choose to not drink. It makes more sense imho to say it's her decision. Case in point, in Muslim countries you will not be accommodated so it's fair to expect the other way around.

Non-binary us neither gender, meaning they can wear whatever clothing they want as it does not apply to them (I think, at least-?). besides, in weddings, there's really only the choices of suits and dresses.

Because there's no word for a neutral title. There's bride and groom, there's no other word. Plus "future spouse who wants to wear a pretty dress" is too long, so bride is simpler.

If a trans woman for example is identifying as a male,but isnt doing surgery,they can still be seen as a male,not biologically,but for all we could care about is that their identity would be male. So yes,biologically female,still none binary😊
