3:13, In retrospect, “My Way” is a perfect song for this story about about a bunch of traumatized, insecure people struggling to accept themselves, each other and the many flaws and discontents of their lives and their world. But it’s not all bleak, being that one of its more positive messages (especially in the rebuild continuity) is the need for not just courage or hope to endure struggles, but humility and empathy to create peace and love between people. And Shinji eventually learned that lesson. All of them learned to break out of their own cycles of despair and loneliness and freed themselves to be something new. The road to get to this point, within the story and making that story, was an absolute mess, flawed in pacing, confusing and underdeveloped in its lore and taking decades of struggle from a depressed author fighting his own battles just out of view, but the destination made it worth it for the most part.

This is near perfect; only reason it isn't perfect is because I had a watershow before the mv could finish. Then again that probably wasn't intended so that weeb moment aside this is actually perfect.
