Nice build bro, have u thought of doing body kits swap on the golf? Maybe you could do a gti or R body kit swap

So what you said a second radiator is that the water type intercooler the caxa golf uses stock?

I believe this turbo is a borg warner K03-248 from BMY-BLG-CAV engines 1,4 twin chargers not 2lt GTi.

absolutely banging mate. hope the videos get the props they deserve. I have a 2017 7.5 golf 1.4 its less powerful than the mk6 because it doesnt have both the supercharger and turbo but i fw the vision you can make these cars to where the gti is for not that much money. !!!!!!! (genuine question) are there any things that are massively different from the gti obviously the suspension but thats replaceable, the engine but doesnt matter if ur making same hp) like driveshaft or anything that youve come across that makes it different?

Mainly just the suspension setup and brakes but other than that the body is more or less the same only the R has the difference where it's got 4wd and no spare wheel to make it lighter

@@MauriceNL1 I think kit of turbo intended for 1.4TSI CAVD twincharge engine.

Sick build man, I have a scirocco with exact same engine and its driving insane :D, idles basically like yours did when you started it after the turbo swap, all shakey, struggles to start in the morning even with a new battery. Strong smell of fuel in the morning under the hood so probably gonna blow up on me :P

Check your spark plugs, coil packs and for the fuel smell check the downpipe gaskets and hpfp, and if that doesn't fix anything then check your map sensors

Sparkplugs and coils i already swapped (got same coils as you), map sensor on the boost pipe i replaced already, so only one left is the one on the manifold itself. hpfp should be okay because my fuel rail pressure is at 50 bar idle which is within spec for this car. downpipe gasket i will check but im also suspecting N80 valve might have gone bad, ill vaccuum test it in a few days

@@moneyvacuum3072 Do a compression test. Worst case is that your pistons are bad. Replacement from Mahle will fix it.

Nice build, what are your goals power wise with the lill bean? I have a stage 2 Mk6 GTI myself and on the 2.0 engines the turbo is in the back of the engine so it was a pain for me to replace my old turbo when the wastegate broke, deff jelous of your front end turbsky XD

You basically need to do a second radiator deleted and route all the pipes back into the standard cooling system

Just look for good history, make sure there's no leaks and make sure it doesn't rattle on the cold start. It can rattle for a few seconds as It starts up but after that if it rattles on idle then it needs a timing chain

Yeah I changed it after It started to rattle. A bit of rattle on initial start up is ok but if it stays for a bit of time while it's cold then it needs changing

Its a k03 Garrett... a have a 1.4 twincharger (supercharger and K03 Garrett) from factory AND tuneo stage 2 a makes 204whp, even can make More just needs some ajust.... i would like make 240 o 250whp , but i think i Will need bigger turbo AND bigger injectors

K04 or a hybrid would be too big for the 1.4. The engine will max out at 250 bhp ish and then to go any further you'll need forged internals
