Loving these vlogs Davie. Although they might get less views I think it’s important to factor in the quality of a viewer on a vlog vs a basic Shopify tutorial. If someone’s watching these consistently they’ll have more buy in to you as a brand and be more likely to convert into discord and paid mentorship

This is the only series I watch at KZread currently so hold on there. I think they need a more clear objective. Like the goal of the day, maybe even visualized by graphics. Sometimes they’re scattered and they tell a lot on “tell”. Rather do some “show” and give us highlights of what content did well and what campaigns went well. I can tell that you often try to abstract your advice so everyone can follow but in some way it’s more interesting when it’s less abstract and more about your specific situation. Cheers from Denmark!

Hi Davie, great content. My opinions and suggestions on how to improve the vlogs are the following: 1. As you said, your day is not super easy to follow and is pretty unconventional. Still, people expect a kind of “predictability” in the unfolding of the day. And what that would mean? That you could make your vlog follow the structure of a day: you literally wake up in the morning, have breakfast (if you have), exercise, shower, work, have lunch, take a nap, work again, take a break, finish working, have dinner, watch Netflix, wrap up the day. So that people would “feel” as if they were you, as they see you as inspiration. 2. People are inherently selfish, and so it would be useful to include nuggets of wisdom throughout the day vlog and state that at the beginning of the video, to create retention and practicality (hi guys, by the end of this video i ll let you know the three main mistakes i made that cost me 10 million dollars). Plus, it creates predictability and structure (people watch the video expecting the three mistakes) Hope that helps!

Hey David just following the interest in organic growth on social media . When it comes to KZread retention time is everything focus on thumbnail selection but also think of the first 5 seconds of your video as it will be shown when a potential viewer hovers over your video. Secondly , successful KZreadrs all follow the same video frame work a good video to help you understand it is “how I broke KZread with 1 video” by Issac . Another thing to think about is although your vlogs aren’t getting the same amount of volume of views as usual for a big channel such as yours are you maybe getting more honest engagement from your audience. A quick formula to figure this out is EER (engagement rate by reach)= total number of engagements/reach of the post X 100. I guess it all depends on what your goal with the vlogs are . Loving the insights of business and your approach to coaching very direct and planned. Hope to someday work with you or run it you around Adelaide sometime 🤙🏻

People currently come to your KZread to learn something about ecommerce & then leave. Even if they hit the Sub button, they don't come back once they've got what they need from you. You need to give them a reason to stay. Get them to emotionally connect.

The level of energy u have (both physical & mental) may not resonate with many. You touch base so many things in these daily vlogs which may be overwhelming for many made them thinking ‘what am i getting out of this’? Also, viewer’s are so used to click baits which your videos dont have which is why i love your content. No matter what you have soo much knowledge in u plz keep sharing & never stop 🙏

I know you’re measuring growth through pure numbers but you must remember the measurement of deepening of relationship. Your previous videos are informative but these vlogs connect us with you on a far deeper level. Overtime this will produce an effect that may not look like numbers but the community will steadily grow and become cult like. I’m sure you’re aware of Danny Duncan - that guy has sold an insane amount of merchandise way beyond other YTbers. He gets big numbers but he never went “viral” overnight. Watch his interview with Colin and Samir. As a South Australian myself who is passionate about business these videos have been gold. I always told my wife that I didn’t approve of Oodies because they’re for lazy teenage girls who shouldn’t be walking around the shopping centre. 😂 But I’ve now said she can buy one. Thanks for sharing the journey

I'll give you my feedback as a viewer and an entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur I only have a set amount of time in the day to watch KZread. Am I going to spend that time watching a vlog or am I going to spend that time watching something that teaches me how to make more money? I'd argue most of your audience is like this. Just my two cents.

I have been watching all the blogs although I reckon to appeal to a large audience you should make more exciting thumbnails and titles, instead of How Danny Buck started his 40m Ring brand, do HOW HE MADE 40MIL WILL SHOCK YOU, just a thought...
