My Visit to Knots Landing Cul-de-Sac
My visit to the Granada Hills, CA cul-de-sac where the exteriors of Knots Landing were shot. An absolute dream come true, made possible by my friend and very gracious host, Darlene.

Wow, thanks so much. I never realized this was a real neighborhood. Just thought it was a hodge podge of homes.
Love this! Waiting for my daughter to go to LA for work cause I'm going with her... this will be on top of my visit list! Total rabid fan of Knots... I just wish they would come out with ALL the seasons on DVD, not just 1 and 2! I live on a cul de sac myself and our houses were built right around the same time as these... kinda nice... thanks for sharing your video! Loved it~!
I wanted to live there and actually seeing it today I still do!
When I was a kid I wanted to move there. lol
Thanks for that! i'd love to visit the 'Circle' too :-)
I had this weird dream this morning and had to come look to see the cul-de-sac. Thanks for posting your video. :)
I want to go there!
Too cool!!!
would love to visit ☺one day
lucky you! I wish I could go!
haha, I grew up in granada hills... they used to film all sorts of things around there. I think ET was filmed some where in or near granada hills
RIP Kevin Dobson
You forgot the Williams/Sollars family who lived in Richard and Laura's house. Great tour! I'm next!
If you've ever been to the cul-de-sac in person, you'll be surprised by how much smaller it looks in person. But if you take pictures or video, it will look just like as large as it did on TV.
This is so cool. I guess they must have done some slicing together shots to make this neighborhood look like it is just one block away from the ocean. It is also hard to believe that there is 5 bedrooms in Karen/Mack's house. It is only 2,680 sq. ft. That is not very big for 5 bedrooms and 3 baths.
To Whom it may concern, Yes people live there, and the houses are privatly owned! and no we do not mind the fan's....The neighbor's are pretty much like what you seen on Knots Landing.....
Where was the beach house that Gary and Abby had during the feuding 1982- 1983 season?
One more question.Did someone reuse the culdesac for another show?My nephews were watching a recent show about a nerdy kid on NICK called Fred(cant remember the whole tittle)and the houses looked just like the one on Crystalaire
Karen's house is the only house that's never changed. Val's used to be yellow. Laura and Richard's never had all those trees out front. And I can't see Kenny and Ginger's house. They won't show it.
Where's the beach?
@CrudelyAnimated I've had conversations with a few of the residents there and they are very friendly. It's also very easy to Google. Get over yourself.
Is this considered a wealthy area? im clueless about california

very true. the 80s in particular seemed to perfect that illusion through tv shows. it stuck with me as a little kid
