As an 81 year old who lived in ME for 18 years and travelled the world , I have enjoyed tour programs immensely and above all I love your open honesty about yourself and your life . As my life slowly drifts away yours is in full bloom . Never change and enjoy your life with your beautiful dog . Happy travels with a full heart ❤️❤️
So I am 76 years old and I have tremendous respect for you. I honestly do not understand why people think a woman should be this sort of storybook, fairy tale princess. Seriously questions like "Why don't you shave?" or "Why don't you have a boyfriend?" just irk me. You are an independent young woman living your life the way you enjoy it and I totally agree with your choice! I say keep doing what you love and be happy!!

Totally agree - far too many women from the 20th century are screwed up because they were raised as little princesses, and they'll never be satisfied with any one man, because we are NOT White Knights or Princes is shining armor.
Eva, if at 31 you have discovered the surpassing value of friendships, you are in good shape. Of all possible human relationships, friendship is the crown jewel. What an interesting, intelligent, thoughtful person you are. I salute you, Eva. This, from a man in his 70's who greatly admires you. So glad you and Noraly are friends. What a wonderful woman she is.
Thank for being so transparent and honest. Love your and Vilk’s channel. I am female, single, happy, with close and loving friends. I stopped worrying about what people thought many yrs ago. Turning 70 in 3 months, travel solo in my customized Promaster van. I mtn bike, race triathlons, run, paddle board, watercolour paint, love camping and meeting people (or not) on my travels. Life to me is living in the moment, leaving nothing behind except kindness and respect.

Yeah! I was going to say, Eva, “She sounds like a ‘keeper’”. (…said the 69 year-old boy). What is it with all these 70+ year-old boys and girls attracted to your channel, Eva? I’ll be 70 in a couple of weeks. I had a bad fall six years ago, come October 2024, so I’ve been a medical train wreck for a while but my last ten hour surgery was last June and I expect to be fully mended by the sixth anniversary next October. I’ve only been able to use my 6.5ft truck camper for a couple of weeks in the last five years - - and then mostly for ‘administrative’ trips. But after surviving (pretty much life-long) psoriatic arthritis, 20-something fractures in my face, Graves’ disease and thyroid eye disease, and proton radiation for prostate cancer, …I guess I could be doing better. I’ve never really had any skin plaque because of the psoriatic arthritis - - just the joint part - - lower back disintegrated, knees hurting, and shoulders not great in that order. As for the fall, I landed on my face so I guess you could say that nothing _vital_ got broken. After forty hours of surgery and having my jaw wired shut for the better part of five years, my face is liberally shored-up with titanium, now. They call me the point-six million dollar man after tallying up all the medical hardware and treatment cost for “my train wreck”. I don’t think I look any worse than before. I might even look better since I started using a caffeine shampoo about a year and a half ago and it caused my hair to grow back - - an unexpected side effect. After I noticed that, I started using minoxidil - - something I had never tried because I assumed it would be ineffective on my male pattern baldness. Now I have more hair on my head than I know what to do with (shrug) - - youth is wasted on the _young_ boys! I still run nearly 7 kilometers a day (…I sing blues and rock songs when I run to help memorize the lyrics), lift weights, and do a few dozens leg lifts a day. I _was_ into doing 120 sit-ups a day but I recently was worried that I had damaged my lower back pushing my camper around on a dolly with a bad wheel. So I got a leg-lift tower frame to take a different approach. The Graves disease almost killed me but I decided to go on methimazole and that got it under control pretty quickly. I was intermediate stage on the cancer but didn’t have any metastases so it was never life threatening but I couldn’t have done anything about it if it was - - too busy trying to put Humpty-Dumpty back together so I could talk and chew food, again. I was taking a rather large daily dose of vitamin D3 in preparation for the radiation treatment, early 2023, and I accidentally discovered that the D3 was practically a cure for my psoriatic joint pains. So I’m continuing to take a larger daily dose and the result is that I’m not feeling the constant pain that I’ve felt since I was a teenager. With my prostate fried, I’m probably not going to be making any babies in the traditional way but, don’t count me out for an in-vitro - - I’m tough (grin!). …I might get that daughter, yet! I don’t mean for this to sound like a marriage offer from Frankenstein, rather, my point is to warn that you shouldn’t get old - - there is no future in it. Oh, …and my passions are embroidery and water colors. That was a rhetorical question, up front, as to why all the 70 year-olds are attracted to your channel like moths to the flame. I know why. Boys (…of _all_ ages) are programmed to be attracted to teen and twenty-something girls. …And then, before you know it, you are middle-aged and wondering where all the attention went. At 31, you are still technically _young_. But youth is fleeting. You should probably think about building your ‘empire’. But, If you should fail to graduate to a family any bigger than you have with Wolfie, you probably shouldn’t despair. Life is hard, it’s full of pain and emptiness… and then we die. Life has a means to tidy-up our missed opportunities. If life was easy, and we got just what we wanted, I think it would be unbearable. I’m reminded of a TWIGHLIGHT ZONE episode or some such science fiction series like that, where the apparent protagonist who stole, killed people in life, and was generally a gangster, finds himself in that great casino in the sky. At least, _he_ thinks he is in heaven. He proceeds to win every bet, every roll of the dice, everything goes his way with the ‘dealer’ providing anything his heart desired - - but, the apparent protagonist becomes increasingly agitated. Finally he says to the ‘dealer’. “I want to go to the _other_ place”. The dealer replies with a sly grin, “What makes you think _this_ isn’t the ‘other place?!?” Technically, at 31 you are still young. I’m old and tired and broken. I think I’m a consistent, though …a consistent failure in life. The prevailing notion is that we make our own luck, but I think I’m living proof that _bad_ luck can follow one around like a cloud. The thing is, when it is over, I really doubt I will realize that I was a consistent failure in that I didn’t achieve the things I was working towards. What will have been important, in the cosmic sense, …was the journey. My next goal is to build an adobe-like hacienda on a piece of land I own in New Mexico. Twelve years ago, I took the French girl that I sleep with camping through New Mexico. I have always liked to visit New Mexico but it never occurred to me to live there. The French girl said, “The perfect place to retire to!” I had to agree because the French waste nothing. Well, the next thing I know, there was a world financial crisis and I couldn’t sell my house or free up any capital. Jump forward four years and I managed to buy the perfect piece of land up high with a view and room for a pony. I could have sold my existing house but I had the fall and I needed someplace to come home from the hospital to. Jump forward a few more years and I can think about selling and leaving where I am but the current government has caused me to lose a half-million dollars to inflation and loss in business confidence. Even four years ago I was only looking at $800K for a house, pool, and casita. Now, I’d be a lot more confident if I had $1,200K lying around. I have to admit that I smell all the elements of impending failure, here. Then, I guess I will have to go back to the drawing board and come up with a new plan for the rest of my life. If I had a nickel for every house I’ve ever built on paper or in my mind, I would be rich. Old Confucian curse: So, …here is hoping that where ever your trail leads, that you have an ‘interesting’ journey. (…I know I will.)
That cut-off at the end is extremely abrupt and I only realized AFTER having posted the video 😂 Sorry, was playing around with the final version and I missed that bit - hope you enjoyed the Q&A though and that I answered some of your most taboo questions! 😁

Without women and men having romantic lasting relationships that produce children, it will be the end on our species. So there is that. Living our lives alone is not healthy. Once you spend a significant amount of time with yourself alone, and really examine who you are, it is only then that you can be truly free and happy. It can be painful taking ownership of your own faults and weaknesses, but it's very therapeutic and worthwhile. This process does create a wanderlust which I believe you are experiencing now. In a more recent video you mentioned a yearning to find a home. This is a very real sign that you have "found yourself" and peace. I applaud your strength. Welcome to the finish line.

Spend enough decades alone, and I think we will agree that both extremes are not healthy. I think a good relationship leaves room for each other to be their own person and pursue independent goals but still having each other for support. I dunno, maybe I'm wrong.

@@PetraDarklander I agree. My point was that being alone (after a failed relationship) and getting to know yourself is a critical step before going into another relationship. Otherwise you risk endless rebounding.

@@xfiles4792 I agree with this, but long term is a bad idea. As a 41 year old father and husband I can confidently say I couldn't imagine my life without my family. Yes, there can be hard times, but the good FAR outweigh them. My wife is the yin to my yang, she balances me, picks me up when I am down, and puts me back on course when I stray. The truth is a good spouse will call you out on your BS and we all need that from time to time. Dont let other bitter people in life convince you that all relationships are bad because they arent, but there is a big difference in love and lust. If all you want is someone you are 100% attracted to, then you arent ready yet.

I agree except I don’t think that’s what “creates” wanderlust. Many ppl that have never spent time alone and don’t do much internal thinking also have wanderlust. It’s almost the human condition. Humans just… explore. It’s kinda our thing… I’ve been single and almost solitary (very few friends) for almost a decade now. And I had a huge wanderlust before this stage of my life ever began. I know one thing…. You’re correct that time alone is huge. It’s another catalyst to change among other parts of the process.
You and Vilk are living the richest of lives. I wish you both the best.
So refreshing to hear a person be able to speak so directly and honestly about almost any topic including those that come with stigmas attached. I really enjoy watching you explore and initially expected that's all I would get out of your channel but this video has allowed us a more intimate view of you as a person on this earth living her life in an unfettered way. Love it!
Just found out about your channel through the Eamon & Bec collab and I definitely wish I had found you sooner! The relationship struggles video had me tearing up so much and it's amazing to see a woman with so many of the beliefs and values that I have. Hoping to outfit the family sequoia for some longer-term over-landing trips in the next year, but I also love having a home base in Seattle of all places because there are so many places I can go from here.
You are a natural beauty. Not many women can pull that off. My ex never wore make up. It was refreshing. Your smile and demeanor are exhilarating. True beauty comes from within. And, you love dogs.
You are a natural beauty. You don't need to wear makeup or shave to look good. You're a free spirit and that's what I like about your videos. Keep it up.
being single is a luxury all on its own 🥰😌
Love Noraly too! And you have a good hold on what life should be. You seem comfortable in your own skin, which for a thirty one year old is fantastic in this consumer driven world we all have to deal with. Thanks for taking us along.
I chuckled at the comment about kids at 19:41, having just read what was written on Vilk's collar a few minutes before. Your channel is fantastic, and your dedication to getting what you want most out of life has been such a joy to watch. Bravo!
Thank you Eva for taking me with you and Vilk. I really appreciate you'alls!
I love your channel. I travel solo by motorcycle, always camping, so I understand your lifestyle. I love solo travel as I go where I want, eat when I want and if I make a mistake, it's my mistake. Thank you for taking us on your adventures.
Eva, according to most of us, you accomplished so much in 2023. The realization that you need to be you is HUGE! Take time to figure out your next move, and go for it. We love you so much.❤
I never wanted children. Through the years, I was told that one day I would change my mind. When that never happened, I was told I would one day regret my decision, when I was old. I'm 73 y/o now and the only thing I regret is giving needless attention to the people that said those things to me. I was married for 13 years once and since 1985 I've been VERY HAPPY.
Grandparents are the best :) I felt really moved when you spoke to them in Polish. Pozdrowienia z Helsinek

I just stumbled across your channel and found you to be very relatable. I subscribed right away and am looking forward to following your adventures. All the best to you.
I just found your channel, watched one video, and immediately fell in love and subscribed. I absolutely love your frankness, your personality, and your wit. You’re truly a breath of fresh air.
you have done an amazing job teaching Vilk....I truly believe that a dog is happier when they know what the limits are and that they are loved
You are blessed to have a companion ,your pooch! No better love and protection than a dog!!
Absolutely love all your answers to those questions! You’re awesome!!
You're such a pure hearted person, Eva. I wish you all the beautiful things.
Even If I don't have your mind about some things (and I respect all of them), it's incredible the feeling I have everytime I watch your video's, you make many girls to encourage themself about solo travelling. You show us a part of the world that we could have never imagine in that way. Thank you for sharing your life with us, an incredible voyage.
You are such a remarkable soul. I have to believe that you are one of the most naturally spiritual young people who I am aware of...your transparency and ability to share your vulnerability generates a trust that I have in you and your life's journey. Unlike others who share their journeys with us, somehow, you create a degree of intimacy for all of us. May your path always be blessed.
I love it that you are real! I agree with everything you say. I'm 64 and love being single. I, too, very rarely consume animal products. I love my simple life and solitude.
Hey Eve. I have been following your adventures for a long time. I am a Belgian. A country where many of your compatriots have found a second home. I'm surprised you can do all of this on your own. Your stories and images are pure, spontaneous and taken from life. congratulations, keep it up. You show us the world through your spontaneous vision and dare to show the local population what it is like in reality.
Thanks, i am also single and 33 years old. It's really annoying having to explain to couples you do not want a relationship or children. It seems couples cannot understand their is more than their life choices and singles like us are really happy about being single and living a live without any compromise. Thanks for this video it feels like someone understands me.

Thank you for sharing all these wonderful questions that we wanted to know more about you
Thank you for sharing Eva! Love the questions and your answers. So true about stigma on being single. Even though I've always wanted to have my own family and kids, it is often better to be single and child free rather than depressed in an unhappy relationship and burned out from daily family work & responsibilities.
I love love love this video and your honesty. I love what you said about the make up and the peer pressure. Your honesty was refreshing ❤❤❤
Nice to hear your candid answers about yourself. Thank you for sharing, And what a lovely salad!
As a still happily single woman of 53 , I’m glad you now understand it’s great. I’ll never understand how so many people judge single women. I don’t judge someone just because they aren’t single only the really unhappy couples who are together because they don’t know how to be happy by themselves. I was engaged in my 30’s. Best decision not to get married.

I don’t know anyone who has ever paid for a guided tour! Most people probably can’t afford that. I think she admitted that she probably went at the wrong time of year. I’ve been there many times and honestly I would not recommend anyone to go in July and August unless you can go to the most popular places first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive. If you have to go at that time of year I would be going to Old Faithful etc. early in the morning, and then going to the less popular parts of the park where there won’t be giant crowds and standing in line waiting with a bunch of fussy children on family vacations.
You do such an amazing job training Vilk. As someone who has trained dogs, I can tell how much love and respect others is in your bond. There are many camps in the dog training world with very different views on how to train a dog and it seems like you have found yourself in a good one.

I agree marriage and having children is not for everyone, but coming from a married man with an 8 year old daughter, I matured a lot in every aspect of my life, appreciated more things that surrounds me, and continually experiencing the joy of having a kid that needs to be loved and loves you back as well. I'm just in my early forties and I can definitely say that life is good, it's not perfect and smooth sailing by any means but it's absolutely a good on going journey. Single, married, with or without kids, the bottom line is we should enjoy our 70-80 plus years of our life here on earth.
