    I love how you just use items that you bought 5 yrs or so ago, and don't feel the need to buy new "minimalist" things. I like how transparent you are. So inspiring!

    I’m really intentional with what I buy, I try to buy / consume only what I need. We need to slow down and realise that very often we don’t need to buy new things, we just have to use what we already have 😌 And a positive bonus is that we are able to save more money overtime 😄

    Looks perfect for a beach holiday to me! Of course, your clothing takes up very little space - I know my mom complains that her very slim friend travels with a backpack while our bras and swimsuits take up much more space than yours lol and just my husband's shoes would fill my backpack!! But I frequently travel with a 16 l Kanken backpack even though my clothing isn't tiny and it's fine, I have plenty of room for the few items I need for a week and if I'm away longer, I wash stuff. It's a relief to see a woman who doesn't need so much for hair and beauty, straighteners etc. as I also get by just fine with a small pouch for my essentials ;) Also, are any of us traveling to places where we couldn't buy whatever we might need and didn't happen to have taken?!

    Your "merino shirt" is sort of a camisole! In America your little bag is a "fanny pack," or a "waist pack," and you're right ... in the UK it's a "bum bag."

    Love your new sneakers! I keep seeing a backpack like that at Ikea in the US for $2.99 but I kept putting it back. But seeing how long and how well it works out well for you, I am going to give it a try the next time I go to Ikea.

  • @louisefroideval

    @louisefroideval

    Hey Lana! 😊 Honestly they are both great. So I would say, for environmental reasons, if you are in France, buy a local 72% green Marseille soap, or if are elsewhere, buy the Dr Bronners (my point is to avoid long shipping, it’s not eco friendly to order a Marseille soap and send it to the other side of the globe if that makes sense, so if you can buy a Dr Bronners directly at your local store, definitely go for it! 😄)

    Summary for 7 days: 1! Shirt, 1! dress, 1! blouse, 1! bikini, trousers, sweater, pareo, socks, Sneakers, flip-flops You have a hat, but no sunscreen for your body... I really like minimalism packing, but this is RIDICULOUS and STUPID: no medication, no first aid kit (plaster, patches,...), no deodorant (I can't Imagine the smell!), no sunglases, no underwear (washing your bikini every day, is wasting water).

    You should definitely take with you a first aid kit with medications for all occasions. Or in France you can’t just buy medicine without a prescription? We take a painkiller, an adhesive plaster, for blood pressure, a bandage, hydrogen peroxide, for nausea, an electronic thermometer, TheraFlu, paracetamol and more. Maybe you are still too young and therefore think that you will not get sick on the trip. But if this happens, then running around in a foreign country in search of a pharmacy or waiting for a doctor will take a long time and will be more expensive than taking the necessary medications with you from home.

    In France there is lots of pharmacies, you can go there and ask for médecine is necessary. They can check and help you quickly if you need something basic (sprain, medicine, spray for bites..) if doctor is needed they'll tell you 😉 or we have insurance to get to an hospital near the vacation location in case of emergency ☺️ Where she is its still Europe so she has an European Card for social security ☺️ have a good day ❤
