I should have diluted mine a little. People have pointed out that it can damage glass at full strength. Mine seems to be fine but your suggestion is probably better. Thanks for watching! Smoke on!!!

Agent orange for the win. I read about this stuff but there were so many people talking about what chemicals might be in it. I have been cleaning mine with hand wipes. I usually do a little cleaning after every other smoke.

That’s how I’ve always done it. Mostly. I always let the pit run up to 350 for about 30min to burn off chemicals before my next cook.

Thx Zak... A while back there was a video of a guy that used AWESOME and cleaned his entire cabinet interior and glass.... I'm always nervous about chemical residue.. So, on occasion, I use CLEANING VINEGAR .. It comes in about half gallon jugs at Lowes or Home Depot. It too is an amazing product that I always experiment with. The GF was amazed when I added a cup to a load of my whites.... results were amazing without bleach. So, CLEANING VINEGAR is what I use on my Pit Boss. Not as harsh....but no poison 😮☠️

@American Smoke It won't melt your residue..but it's safer. I give it a little help with those cheap green scrub pads. The thought of ANY chemical residue in my family n friends food freaks me out. I don't believe in the "it'll burn off during smoke mode" theory. 😎
What’s the track you play at the start of each video? Sounds dope

HAHAHAHA! Told ya lol. I use my garden hose to rinse it off after. Also if you spray some on a paper towel you can just wipe off the buildup on the internal temp sensor to keep it clean and reading correctly.

@TheAmericanSmoke

I’ve had several people use it in the inside with great results. I would recommend washing down with hot soapy water and a rag after and then doing a 1 hr burn off at 350 or higher afterwards to eliminate all chemical residue from inside the chamber. Thanks for watching! Smoke on!!!

my glass cleaner is a little bit more expensive but works great and is Non Toxic, hazardous free, and has no ammonia, formaldehyde, phthalates, or parabens and all you need is a little bit of it. I don't even have to do a burn-off after using it. I would like to send you some and if you like it please tell others!!! Oh yeah its also 99% biodegradable also Zak. Love your videos by the way.

@@TheAmericanSmoke Ecosense Clear Power. It's from an all-American company I recently started getting all my stuff from. 100% American owned and operated out of the great state of Idaho. No more big box stores or China if I can help it. I can send you some or I can send you an overview for you to check out for yourself. They have over 500 products that just replace the ones you are already buying in the stores except they are all non-toxic and hazardous-free so they are way safer for you and your family to be around.
I use Awesome. Remove the door.. I spray and wash with a hose. Your welcome.
The bottle says not to use concentrated on glass. Did you dilute yours to the recommended ratio before spraying on the glass of your PitBoss?
@TheAmericanSmoke
11 ай бұрын
I did not but as a disclaimer, I recommend following all manufacturer’s recommendations and guidelines.
Just FYI- I was checking out this product on Dollar Tree's website and actually read the labels. The label on the front of the container says "Dilute Before Use". To make things even better for you, the label on the back of the container says (in large font, ALL CAPS, AND underlined) "DO NOT USE CONCENTRATED ON GLASS". Who knows WHY you shouldn't just spray this stuff right out of the bottle onto glass like you did, but the manufacturer obviously has a reason to make such a big point out of it!! Proceed with caution!
@TheAmericanSmoke

Yeah, I’ve never been the best at reading labels. I see degreaser and it’s on! Thanks for the concern. Maybe it helps that the glass on the front door is tempered? I’ve had no problems. Thanks for watching! Smoke on!!!

Gotta be careful with that totally awesome cleaner. It is just great but, i use it diluted in my parts cleaner in my shop. It took every bit of paint off the entire parts cleaner!
I know this must be toxic as all get out, but can you use this on all of the smoker and just do a burn off after you’re done? Only asking because I’m lazy and don’t want to kill my family. 😂
