Crazy cool, I have a more traditional projector and would love an ultra short throw to save space and so it's not in anyone's way when they need to pass by. US link shows the 1080p version, perhaps 4k isn't yet available in the US?

Ah, forgot to mention, I have stuck with a projector for almost 7 years now. I haven't looked back. Even with all the talk about picture perfect OLED screens, the lack of glare and sheer image size has had me sold on projectors like iMessage has me sold on iPhone all these years, lol.

Projectors are great but their quality can be low if you buy a cheap model and if you have a lot of windows in your room like I do, then some sunlight might make it harder to see. But anyways great video man. 👍

Great video man, I've always been fascinated by projectors and I've own a few really cheap ones. I use a tv for most of my media, but it's getting older and is starting to go. I've been debating about getting a really good projector as a replacement eventually, I know a lot of the pros and cons about them but it would be a great space saving for my apartment. You've definitely convinced me that I maybe should look a little bit more into it again.

do you have any more affordable recommendations?

possible to connect a soundbar to it and enjoy Dolby Atmos ?

Nice! I was wondering when you would get to review this unit since it is among the MOST AFFORDABLE of all Ultra Short Throw Projectors. Just a heads up tho, the O1 Pro is rated at 1,200 Lumens instead of the 800 Lumens of the O1...of course coming at a higher cost....but may help resolve any issues you were having with Ambient light, but from the video, I can see that Ambient light wasn't affecting it too terribly and isn't bad at all. I only use my projector for movies now and then, I dont want to get used to the big screen because then it is no longer special, so I have both TV and Projector.

I like it, but I will stick with a TV (for now).

The only thing about smart tv’s that it has over projectors is that the back light is built in to light up the tv. On the other hand what projectors have over tv’s is that they are portable, you can expand the viewing size, let’s say your in an Airbnb in Miami or anywhere else inside the USA or outside of the country. The only tv they’ll have in your airbnb room is the one out in the living room and not one in your bedroom room. It would be even horrible if you brought a girl over to your Airbnb bedroom, she would be bored out of her mind. These laser projectors are like portable tv’s. A large or decent size smart tv’s are very delicate, the more thinner and larger they are. Plus when your moving into a new place and you have your tv mounted, you would have to remount the tv again or connect it to the stand that it came with.

I've been using projectors since 2018. I'll never buy another tv. I don't wish for my projector to be brighter in daylight. Even when I had a tv I kept my room dark to minimize reflections.

Idk how much u got it for but rn on Amazon it’s over 1.8k… for that price you can get a decent 4K 75 inch tv

Only issue I have with these UST is they are all pixel shifting 4k so not really true 4k. Don't think I could ever switch from an OLED to a pixel shifting 4k. Not the same quality IMO. Picture looks way washed out. Much better options on the market IMO.
