I've been streaming since January and I am at 75 followers. Not even an affiliate because I can't reach 3 average viewers. It's really disappointing and sad... Update: 3 months later, I am an affiliate with 200+ followers. It's still very small and I am growing slowly, but I don't want to give up. I love the little community I've built and I hope it continues to grows.

I know how to get affiliate fast you have to be a girl and also make friends or acquaintances in other streamers chats but don't self promo. Also just use your phone make another account to add a viewer for affiliate

I would say yes, but have a look at twitch tracker or even in the twitch app and see what the numbers look like. Sometimes playing something niche like that will totally work in your favor!

So I actually always wondered how much small streamers make and its actually alot more than I thought however I did think most of it would've cone from Ad Revenue and I'm actually shocked. It does explain though why my Ad revenue is also always so low even when I views are higher than usual for perspective for me I average around 5-7 viewers per stream and stream around 2-4 hours a day around 4 times a week

How often did you stream that much/ how many accumulated hours did you need to put in for that.

so im thinking about starting a stream, would you recommend twitch over yt?

Twitch has a far better user experience and community but dang it, KZread has much wider reach. I would say, Multistream to both but focus on building community on Twitch! Good luck 👍🏼

I grew my community organically by meeting other streamers who were similar to me, showing up in their streams, supporting them and joining their Discords. It's def taken a long time, but it has been so rewarding! Best of luck to you!

How much did you make like starting from 0? I want to start streaming games, I don’t have the equipment and I have some savings, but I don’t want to invest all I have and risk ending up with nothing 😅 if I’m not going to earn enough. I’ve been thinking to save some more but I ended up jobless, being fire at this time of the year is no joke no company is looking to hire I would probably continue unemployed until April next year or longer 😫 Just thinking about streaming video games since at least is going to be something that I enjoy doing

This video was made about 1 1/2 years after I had started streaming. Not gonna lie, it will take some time to build an audience and grow the community to get to a place where you'll make money. When I started, I would spend way more every month subbing to other channels and upgrading my setup, but it's like any business...you have to spend money to make money. I would say, start streaming for the pure joy of it and do not rely on income. It will happen but it'll take some time. Sure! I spent between 4-6 hours per week streaming, and about 8 hours a week making content to promote my stream, and about 3 hours a week in my discord and other discords. Also, I’m in the music category

At that time, I streamed 2x per week for 4 hours total. That said, I spent a LOT of time building community, networking and creating content. Keep up that grind, but remember… have fun on the journey!

I actually stream DJ sets and my strategy for getting subs is to build an audience and community organically. It’s taken me a long time, but I really think the relationship building is the key!

Well….. depends of course on your content and size of your community. I am really hoping that YT will put some more effort into their livestreaming experience!

I made the threshold for payout and never got one and I went from $62.88 to $40.12 I feel like twitch doesn’t want me to win and I even asked the customer support they basically said oh well…

650 in a month only 25 views per stream is decent just do play what you enjoy doing, as a guy i know whatever game i play no matter what i do id never get 650 in a month with 25 views per stream, fair play to you well done. My lonely stream 2 3 ppl max 😅😂
