a lot of colleges have the twin rule, where if they accept one twin they’ll accept the other, and if they reject one they’ll reject the other

A lot of these unis have a twin policy. They won’t accept one twin and reject the other.

@@ForTomorrowToday I am a twin as well. It would be very disheartening if my sister got into a uni and I did not especially considering our EC's and scores are similar. Some colleges take this into account. If one twin is significantly weaker than the other, they will reject both though.

@@izzyiino4044 lol I'm a twin but I want to go to Oxford university and my brother wants to go somewhere else so we don't have that experience, but it's such a cool rule. It also doesn't allow twins to compare each other

@@tope418 no not really. Even though my twin is very close to me stats-wise, we never got many matching acceptances. It might just be this year which is weird, but obviously this rule doesnt hold.

it's so cool you guys got into all the same schools c: I'm from Australia so we're only allowed to apply to 5 Uni's so I have to choose carefully, but I cant wait to find out at the end of the year (if the rona doesnt push it back even further lol) Hope you guys end up going to the same Uni, that would be very epic

Thats bit entirely true, you are limited to a certain number of Uni applications per state in Australia. However you will only get one offer per state. It is much harder, especially as you don’t get the offer(s) until after your finish high school, so it’s much more stressful!

congrats omg! i had a question: since stanford is REA, how were you still able to apply to umich and georgia tech early action?

Amy Wu ♡ Stanford’s restrictive early action only applies to other private schools, meaning you are free to apply early action to any public schools. If you are considering applying to Stanford REA I highly recommend applying early to public schools (Umich, UT, GT, etc.) as well! Hope this helps!

Okay. I have to ask. I've always wanted to ask identical twins this too. Have you both, in your past, at any time, frequently or infrequently, posed as the other sister and sat in on her classes, and talked to anyone pretending to be the other one? I ask because i think if i had a twin brother, i'd do that kind of thing all the time just to screw with people's heads. Also, can you fool your parents?

I don’t understand why that the students apply to the university in 2020 and go just in 2024, why that happens? How does it works? Because in my country we got a test and if I past this test I go to the university in the next semesters
